I love this place. The food is always great, fresh and filling and it has a great ambiance about it. The staff are always friendly and as leurr says, Nino, the Head Waiter will always remember you and treat you well. It is one of the best Italians in London and a great place to people watch if you get a window seat.

I would argue that this is not the best pub in Reading. Yes, it serves real ale, yes it has no mobile phones but - the locals are a sour faced bunch who seem to make it their misson to not let you near the bar to sample the real ales! Much better you try The Horse & Jockey now it has been refurbished and taken over if you like a bar for its beer.

LSB (as we call it locally) is probably the best restaurant in Reading. However, this popularity costs and trying to get a table for a saturday night is often a task beyond my patience. However, once in the food is always good, the view not bad (if you sit upstairs) and the service better than average. The owner knows his stuff and always a great menu.
