This is one of my favourite restaurants. The food is always excellent, the service very friendly and attentive... Book a table early if you want to dine on a friday or saturday evening.
Always many specials on the menu which is one of the most extensive I have ever seen... The daily fish special is always a good option, and the scallops are like I have never tasted....
The wine list is very extensive but quite pricey... Champage will set you back between £50-£70... and regular bottles of wine tend to be nearer £20 than £10 for Pinot Grigio...
But well worth it for a special occasion. They make every customer feel like a family friend.. But they are very efficient so you can feel a little hurried but don't rush it's just their manner....

Chapter One
The first of a group of "Chapter" restaurants, not a restaurant for the very hungry or poor. The prices are quite high, the wine list quite extensive but also a little over-priced.
The food though is excellent and the service good, there si always a staff who understand requests and there doesn't ever seem to be a language barrier.
Lunch menu's are more reasonably priced and one can eat in the more casual brasserie area by the bar for around £15 per head for a tasty lunch. (the risotto is divine!.
The set menu's are better value and worth looking at if you have a fixed budget.

The food here is always quite authentic for tapas, but the service is not always attentive. Don't come here if you want a quick bite... It is an ideal place for an after work get together as it is quite large but can ber very noisy as it is quite hollow. There is a very exclusive restaurant at the rear of the tapas restaurant which serves excellent food and amazing (but very pricey) wines... Some of the Rioja's are out of this world... A real special occassion place. In this area the food, service and ambiance is excellent..... The noise from the tapas bar is very muffled.
Prices are above average in the tapas bar but the drinks there seem quite reasonable
