Arkswrights have been around for a quite while now,I personally think they are not the best chippy but are quite decent if you need some fish and chips and are close around the area.

The food here has always been quite decent,The only issue is at times they take quite long in taking your order.

At one time when i came here the owner was watching telly in the back,I had to wait ten minutes and shout before they came to me.I thought that was quite unprofesional from a fish and chips owner to do.

This fish and chip shop has been around for many years and there is no suprise why it has been around for years,A lot of people come here to get their fish and chips and why not?The place is the best place for fish and chips in the town.

As soon as you walk in some one will take your order,And if you are getting fish and chips the order does take about 2 minutes thats all.They give you the fish and chips in a portion tray and when you get out,You should try the food because it really does taste good when its warm!

When it comes to bringing the public excellent pizza many people think Pizza Hut is the best place to eat at,Indeed for some it is and for others it is not,I am one of the others who do not like the food here.

The pizzas here can cost you up to 9 pounds at time,Why would you want to pay so much for a pizza which is not much different than other places?I really do not like the pizzas here,I find them to be awful and in terms of prices they are awful as well.

Dominos Pizza has been around for many years and it has proved to be excellent when it comes to providing people with top class fast food.

The best food you can really from here is the pizzas,I really do like the pizzas from here.I find the food here to be really good.The pizzas are made well and fresh and also you can get them delivered or even order them on the Internet.

I have never had any issue in all the time i have ordered from here,I feel its an excellent place to eat at.

Chubbies has been around for a while now and yes it is a halal restaurant like the title says.The place sells a lot of good food and dishes.I normally come here for a good burger.

Their burgers are quite unique here as well,They put in different sauces and overall it makes the taste really good.

Their staff are friendly and quite to respond,Most of the guys working here wear their uniform at all the time.Overall its a professional place this everything is perfect here.

Barbe-Q is really a brilliant takeaway to come at,I have found this to be one my favourites in York.Fast food at times can be hard to choose on where to get the food from but i know this is an ideal choice for me and any one who likes good fast food.

I normally order donner and chips from here,They also sell some good Somasas.The food here is outstanding,Its quite unique from the rest and really is excellent.The food here is brilliant and the place inside is clean as well,For sure a place people should eat at for me.

The name i find to be quite not relevant to a takeaway business but forgetting about the name how good is the food is here is what matters.I normally did come here but have stopped now,this place has become a hot spot for young kids who decide to hang around in a takeaway especially when it rains and what is more odd is the owner lets them hang around!I am not pleased with that as some of them can actually be trouble makers.

When it comes to the food,They make some alright pizzas here and are quite fast in taking your order and bringing it to you,I just feel the owner should do something about the trouble the youths bring here.

Other towns have bigger KFC'S than this our town is quite small to other towns and we have a small KFC here.The food here is pretty much the same as you would have at ony other KFC really,I have been coming here for years and years and have never had any problem here at all.

The staff working here are quite fast in taking your order,To be honest as soon as you come through the door you will get served most likely.They are quick at making the chicken and fries as well,The most i have waited here was probally ten minutes.

2nd McDonalds of the town
Now this is probally the McDonalds you do not want to go into it.I used to come here quite often but recently i have decided not to come here this is because the amount of young staff here causing problems for a lot of people.When you come to order here most of the staff be too busy chatting away to each other.

I have found coming here can cause you to get stressed out,I had an issue where i had to wait to get served it took them 15 minutes to serve me,I clearly saw two young girls and a young lad chatting away in the corner,They were not even on their breaks.

Sun Lee Chop Suey House
Sun Lee Chop Suey house now is a good place to get a chinese from.I normally used to come here every week but i have moved houses recently so this has become quite far from my house and i do not have a car at the moment so i dont come here much now.

In terms of food they have an excellent menu,The menu really will play with your head as you will not know what to order from here.There is a chinese fella working here who is quick to take your order and who is also friendly.

Great place to eat this is,A must for any chinese food lover.
