Fabulous range of freshly prepared, home cooked food. Menus veer towards the healthy but there is something for absolutely everyone, including the adventurous - beetroot sponge cake anyone?

Superb setting, simply decorated (spectacularly simply at Christmas time actually), disabled and child-friendly.

Although a full meal is by no means cheap, the quality is superb and provides excellent value for money.

Enjoy it while you can
It may have fought off the "arty farty" revamp for now, but it's subject to review in another five years time so may only be a temporary reprieve.

It is one of the few places in Keswick where you can sit outside with a view of the lake. And the piano that plays by itself has been fascinaqting children for years.

Long may it last!!!!!!!!!!

Chickentastic!
We visited the Eldon Square outlet on a red hot afternoon and were delighted to easily locate an outside table. The exceptionally attentive staff handled my entire order at the table so that I didn't have to tackle trying to get indoors with my two children and double buggy. The food was freshly prepared and excellent value for money. The staff did not put any pressure on us to vacate the table after a certain amount of time and even provided crayons and colouring books for ther children.

Fantastic for children!
We attended Cocomos on a very rainy August Bank Holiday Friday and was overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff, who were more than willing to accommodate a dripping-wet double buggy holding a boisterous two and a half year old boy and a baby. Our group further comprised an eight year old girl, a ten year old boy, and 5 adults ranging from mid-thirties to mid-seventies. The waitress encouraged the children to make their own pizzas, which was a novel and delightful experience for them and is still a constant topic of conversation whenever pizzas or restaurants are mentioned. Although the pasta portions were not huge, our aunt received the largest lasagne ever seen, prompting envious glares from the rest of the party.
Disabled access is excellent and the premises offer riveting views of "the action" on Newcastle Quayside. We have already ordered gift vouchers for my Father's November birthday.
