Good hotel for business trips
Hotel Concorde Montparnasse is located on the left bank in the heart of the Montparnasse district of Paris, close to the neighboring areas of Saint-Germain des Pres and the Latin Quarter. Built in 2004, the contemporary architecture of this Paris hotel reflects the curvaceous design of the beautiful sloping fountain featured in the gardens of Place Catalogne opposite. Breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower can be seen from some of the hotel's 354 spacious and comfortable rooms.

I like this place when I go to Paris for business. Service is excellent.
Unfortunately they don't change the room service menu more than 3 times a year so you can get bored very easily if you often go there. The restaurant is quite good but do not hesitate to ask for more suggestions if you only want some vegetables and simply meals.

There is a fitness centre and a spa room at the lower ground floor.

Millesimes 62 is a French gastronomic south cooking. The menu is very original and the wines perfectly fit.
You can ask the waitress for advice: she always admits she does not know anything about wine because she does not like it but what she knows in theory is more than sufficient (and please note that Stephan Savorgnan, the owner, is right behind her ;-)
I love their salmon tartare or the goat cheese crumble. The scallops are very nice and spicy as I like. If you prefer meat, you can select the tender lamb. Taste the chocolate fondant served with almond ice cream, it is sooooo lovely!
Last but not least, the bread is very good as well.

Should you miss France or look for good food, you can book La Bouchee. Unfortunately I did not like the service. I also consider that it is a little bit expensive...

One of the eldest brasseries in Paris
Should you like to have a pure Parisian experience, La Coupole is the place to go.
You can start with half a dozen of oysters and then taste the steak tartare with a nice wine... but don't go there only for food: the brasserie is located in an old building whose the ceiling is fantastic. And please have a look at the typical not smiling Parisian waiters and enjoy how they dance from table to table.
Funny thing: apparently the curry lamb is famous there but I have never tried it. I let British specialists compare it with what they have in the UK since the first dish in the UK is Indian.
Do not hesitate to choose the fruit gazpacho as dessert... for the ones who don't care, go for some crepes suzette ;-)
