I am of Greek decent and we know a good Greek when we find one! Because of that my family has dined here about once a month since it opened – we don’t even look at the menu anymore as its dishes are as familiar to us as any of our homemade favourites! We make the place our first choice because we are always met with enthusiasm and treated wonderfully by all the staff who know us so well – they even start to prepare our drinks before we have ordered them! This restaurant is an extension of my families dining room table and I encourage you all to go so it will stay open and prosperous forever, that way I can take my children there as I was taken there as a child.

We've eaten here and few times and always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere but we were sorely disappointed by the staff during out last visit (on September 4th 2008). The restaurant wasn’t at all full but we were sat close to other patrons along the window. Then the family of three (parents late 30’s and daughter of about 11) setting behind us started to play R&B music through a mobile phone. Thinking that it was just one song that the dad just HAD to play for his family we sat patiently and waited for it to finish but one song just rolled into the next and it became evident that he had no intension of turning it off. Then a member of staff approached the table and we exchanged a hopeful look with another dismayed table only for the waiter to take the families drink order!
The food is great, the décor is nice but the staff aren’t up to much!

My husband and I have eaten here about 4 times and have loved our meal on each occasion – but on the last occasion that we dined there we naively arrived as a party of 6 at 7:30pm on the Saturday night before Christmas! Our stupidity was only made apparent when we were asked if we had a reservation which we did not – but with big warms smiles and a quick rearranging of tables we were accommodated and were able to introduce our visiting relatives to the wonderful La Luna!
My Husband and I love it there and we are in fact eating there tonight! Try it for yourself!
