Turkish Delight
It is hard to choose a restaurant on Upper Street in Islington. But look no further for a delicous Turkish meal then Mem & Laz. I love the lamb dishes in particular. I haven't tried all the ways they cook it, but they are all wonderfully tasty. To add to the quality of food and service (very friendly staff!!), the bill won't broke your wallet either. Main course is around 10 and dessert around 4. Althought the wine list is limited, the price is decent and quality is good. Whether you are looking for a romantice evening to for two or a night out with friends, this is the place to go. Booking recommanded especially over weekends. Enjoy!!

I liked the place for its decor as well. Food is also delicious. I had monk fish, which was really nice. However, the space is small and they try to put in as many table as they can. My boyfriend and I sat at a table for four, but it was hardly any space left for the two of us! And if you are going to order dessert, not a good idea to share the Creme Brulee, it was tiny!

Authentic Tapas outside of Spain
This little place near Camden Town station is easily the best Tapas place you will find in London. Start your meal with a glass of Sangria, you will feel like you are in Spain already. Follow up by a mouth watering selection of your favourite calamari, chorizo in red wine, grilled prawns and the paella is simply to die for! Finish the evening with more delicious coctails, which are even better value before 7pm during the week. To top everything up, you can even indulge in some Flemenco on some days (please check with restaurant for performance time).
