An Excellent Eatery
After hearing good things about this place from some of my friends, my other half and I made the trip to the back and beyond of Newton St Cyres. Its a bit out of the way, but is well signposted and we arrived without any hiccups in navigation.

The food was excellent, very tasty and the steak was cooked exactly as ordered. The service was great too, it was quite busy and the waitresses were constantly on the go, but very helpful and quick.

Next time we go, we'll definitely be having a look round the on-site brewery too!

Nice food, but watch your pocket
I have had good food at Prezzo's, but have heard some disturbing stories about attempted overcharging at Exeter Prezzo (see www.itsmymarket.com/blogs/imm/exeter-prezzo/). Whilst this seems to be more the fault of the individual head waiter, it certainly lowers my opinion of them. I should point out that a letter of apology was sent out to the person involved along with a £50 voucher.

Stodgy food, staff seemingly untrained. Slow service with food that wasn't ordered offered again, drinks orders forgotten and incomplete. Not a pleasant experience, won't be going there again until I read some good reviews.

Worst fish and chips I've ever had. It took 20mins to cook and was soggy by the time we got home (15mins drive). Add to that it was completely drowned in vinegar - totally inedible.
