Great atmosphere in this rural pub in the soft underbelly of England.

It's a Wadworth pub, but you'll find only friendly service and conversation with the locals here - no TV or music.

The menu specialises in local produce (trout and watercress from the river test) and it's unlikely you'll have room for any desert!

It's a popular place and you will have to book for lunch and/or dinner and they are closed all day on Monday. The landlord has just bought his own pub a few miles away - The Hare and Hounds in Charlton down, where he hopes to replicate the experience - not been there yet.
