Classy Restaurant Without The Food To Match
Signor Valentino gives the impression of being a very classy restaurant, and the views from it's floor to cealing windows are amazing, showing the whole bustling bay scene as well as out to the lake. But the food let's it down in a serious way, with many of the sauces with the pasta tasting like they came from a packet. With the prices of fine dining but without the food to match this restaurant is a big let down.

Surprisingly Good Indian
The Mughal Emperor is situated by the side of A48, and to be honest, does not give a good impression to those passing by. But inside it's a completely different story, the interior has been imaginatively decorated, a complete contrast to it's slightly rundown look from the outside. The food is great and not bad value either, and for such a large restaurant, it is surpringly intimate. Certaintly one of or the best indian in the area.

Best Brunch in London
Well, almost. But the breakfast served at the brasserie is certainly very good, and the eggs benedict must be the best i have ever tasted! It has great ambience, with the staff allways friendly and helpful and have allways been so when I have dined there, though I have heard many stories of less than outstanding service in the evenings. A great place to eat after or before exploring Portobello road's famous market.

Good Food but very businessy feel.
The Terrace in the Fields is a very confused resraurant, it is trying to be too many things at the same time - Business Lunch Venue, Eco-Friendly Building and High Class Restaurant. Unfortunatly the Business Lunch seems to have taken over the whole restaurant, with evening weekend evenings with no ambience. Having said this the food is very good and imaginatively presented.

Great Evening - With Jazz Sining Waitresses!
The Naked Turtle is a great restaurant, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is mainly due to the brilliant staff, which include a host of waiters and waitresses that sing jazz songs (with piano accompompaniment) throughout the evening. When first looking at the menu it seems that the usual mainstream European food is being served, but in fact a host of much more exotic dishes are on offer, for example ostrich, kangaroo and crocodile! A great night out, especially for larger groups.

Nice Seafood / British Fare
Gilby's restaurant keeps itself to a very high standard, with excellent staff and brilliant food (both cooked and sourced well). It is certainly one of the more 'special' places to eat out in the Cardiff/Glamorgan area. Though food is delicious, the servings are allways to large especially with the main courses. It has great ambience and is very popular with couples, though the surroundings are less than great (offices and supermarkets).

Novelty Asian Restaurant
When Entering Gilgamesh, the only thoughts that enter your head are those of disbelief. From the bustling streets of Camden Town, you are taken up to the first floor by escalators into a cavernous hall, bedecked in ornate wood panelling, covered in Asian patterns and carvings. It is incredibly elaborate and you feel as if you have just stepped into a movie set. The whole building is incredible, with the toilets so luxurious it has to be seen to be believed. But once you have recovered from the look of the place, the food just does not meet the high standard the venue leads you to expect, and to be honest, some of the furnishings and even cutlery and glasses didn't seem very clean. A great novelty dinner or lunch but that's all.

Good Food but quite Claustrophobic
The food in Farthings is allways very well prepared, and it has a very good reputation locally, so much so that it has been able to open up a shop selling it's food on the High Street. But the restaurant itself is quite claustrophobic, owing to the low cielings and dark walls.

Very Nice Simple British Food
Huddarts is a great restaurant, serving rather expensive but excuisite food. It is well known locally for the Head Chef's dedication to producing great dishes and sourcing ingredients as locally as possible. The restaurant is classy and is decorated simply, and it feels very high class.

Nice local Italian
Valentino's is a nice Italian restaurant, located in the up-market town of Cowbridge in South Wales. The food is nice enough, with the pasta taking centre stage, but the desserts and quite up to the good standard usually had at the town. The ambience is good, but this can be spoiled by bad choice in musicians.
