Second hand store
This store offers all kinds of items dependent on what has been traded in. Typical items include television sets, hi-fi systems, games consoles and mp3 players. A wide range of second hand games are also available for reasonable prices. All the items are fairly priced and are in mostly good condition. Upstairs is K - Music which again offers second hand cds as well as dvds and some guitars. There tends to be a very wide variety of cds and dvds so they can be quite hard to find although most of the time a staff member will help you out. If you are looking for a specific cd you may have to keep coming back as they are not always available. Overall the store is a very good quality second hand store and is also useful for if you have some items at home that you dont need anymore and want to sell!

Bicycle Store
Located just off the high street it is not the most easily accesible but offers a good quality range of goods. The shop offers a huge variety of bicycles at very good prices. Staff are helpful and are always willing to try to find the bike that will suit your needs the most. A wide range of bicycle accessories are also available including bicycle helmets, bells and some high tech gadgets for use with your bike. This store is one of the company's larger stores and so you can be sure that you will find a bike suitable for you!

Good Rental Store
This store is located along rayne road and so is easy to access. It has two floors with the upper floor being the rental floor. The lower floor is where you can purchase dvds, games and confectionary etc. Upstairs there is a wide variety of chart dvds and games as well as some older dvds available to rent. However after a period of time these dvds are taken off the shelf and are offered for sale downstairs as rental copies. The prices are relatively cheap especially for if you intend to rent a series and watch it continuously! The game selection downstairs caters for all recent formats and there are new as well as pre-owned games available to buy. Overall it is a good rental store.

Stationary and Magazines galore!
This store is located in george yard shopping centre and is a medium sized store offering all sorts of goods including magazines, stationary, cds, dvds, books and sweets. There is a large selection of magazines always available and are easy to find as they are sorted by category. Cds and dvds are found towards the back of the store and are mainly chart although there is a small selection of other cds and dvds. Service is good and staff will always help you out if you need help finding a particular book etc. Overall it is a good quality well staffed WHSmith store.

Large variety of goods!
This is a small argos store but offers all the normal catalogue goods (excluding argos extra etc). There are plenty of catalogues and stock checkers available and there are three checkouts from which you can purchase your goods. Normally there is not a long wait for goods to be delivered to the pick up point although the time can vary and the shop can get quite busy in peak times. The shop also displays clearance goods near the checkout which you can buy without having to wait for them to be delivered to the pick up point. Overall it is a very good quality argos store with brilliant service!

Good shop offering large variety of goods.
This large woolworths is located just off the high street in braintree. It offers many things available to buy including toys, games, clothes, dvds etc. It has also started offering a larger selection of sweets and has introduced its own value range. During the summer and on hot days the lack of air conditioning in the shop becomes apparent as it gets very hot and stuffy and this can be catastrophic for the chocolate as it quickly melts in the heat. Service is good and instore ordering is available if the item you want cannot be found instore. It mainly offers chart cds and dvds but with a few bestselling items available for a good price. Overall it is a good quality convenience store.

Medium Sized Game Store
Located next to zavvi this store offers a greater product range although the prices tend to be higher. There is a large selection of pre-owned games in the middle of the store for all recent consoles and the store also offers top selling chart games. In my own experience with buying pre owned ps2 games they are often unable to find the discs, recently they were unable to find 3 out of 4 games that i wanted simply because the discs had gone missing. This does not happen with the chart games however and may just be a bad experience. Service is good although due to the store being rather small the queues can get quite big! Overall however it is a good quality games store.

Excellent music store!
This shop is located in the shopping complex of George Yard and is a medium sized shop. All sorts can be bought from it including cds, dvds, games and even mobile phones. Most of the items are reasonably priced and are not just chart cds etc. At the back of the store there is a stall containing a large variety of cds that are not in the chart and so if you are looking for something a bit more obscure you can go here. The service is good and most of the time staff will come up to you and ask if you need assistance. Overall it is a good quality music store.

Good Fast Food Restaurant
This drive through and eat in restaurant is located in a complex of fast food restaurants and is situated by a main road allowing for easy access. At peak times it can become extremely busy (at the drive through and in the restaurant) and at most other times it has a fair few customers. Food is generally of a good quality except for one experience when we ordered a fillet of fish from the drive through and were given fish fingers in a bun instead. Service is also fairly quick and will be brought out to your car or to your table if you have to wait. Overall it is a decent quality fast food restaurant

Delicious Pizza!
This restaurant is located in a complex of other fast food restaurants in the area and is situated near a main road allowing for easy access. People can either order a takeaway pizza from the restaurant or can eat in. There are plenty of tables ranging in size and the restaurant can accomodate partys. During peak times service can be a bit slower than usual but even then it is relatively fast and efficient. A lunchtime all you can eat buffet is available until around 2/3 o' clock and this offers pizza, pasta and salad as well as many other things. I recommend this restaurant for its delicious food!
