Cheap and Nice indian in Wardour Street
I have been out for diner at Imli with a group of 4 friends on a saturday evening. After we managed to convince them not to go to busaba ethai (where the food is not bad but the service horrendeous).
- Service:
Imli was a new experience for all of us and we were quite impress as to the quality of the staff (top marks there!).
The waiters and waitress were all very friendly and funny and suggested the best deal on offer.
-Food:
The food was good ,not great but good. Dishes are kind of fusion/modern indian. quite few different choices on offer.
- Cost: We all took their all you can eat offer for a set price (I don't have the exact figure in mind but it was around 10-15) definitely a bargain. not sure how prices compare if you don't take their special offers..
- Place:
Nice, modern, spacious and bright. Not too fancy but it's nice and you feel at ease there.
- Conclusion:
I will definitely go again and they better have the same offer on their menu and I hope that the service will not go downhill once they are a bit better known. And please stop going to busaba ethai!! they would be better handling cattle than customers ;-)
