Mummy's the Word
For a relatively small city, the museum is full of interesting pieces, the showcase being the egyptian mummy of the top floor. Others include a great selection of creepy crawly's and stuffed animals in the natural history section. You'll also find out about Derby's Viking history and the story of Bonnie Prince Charlie. well worth a visit, especially with children.

Tall & Tasty
Although situated in saddlergate, the now quiter side of Derby City Centre, the Big Blue is always buzzing with activity and filled with both students and workers alike, passing their free time away with a tall and tasty coffee. Chill out on the sofa's at the back, or sit out front in the sunshire. whichever you choose, the coffee is always good and atmosphere as good as any starbucks or costa coffee.

Quick & Cool ( atmosphere not the food )
Have eaten here on a number of occasions and each time have been seated straight away without a wait. The service is always good, quick, friendly and everything explained. The food is great too, always tasty and fresh, as is the juices. A meal for two will cost you around £20 including drinks, which given the cool, lively and vibrant atmosphere is well worth it. Try the 'edamame' as a side dish to your meal, streamed green soya beans with chilli and salt. Very tasty. Enjoy.
