Wonderful
This is a fantastic place to pick up lovely fresh produce that is sourced locally. Often everything is organic and is quite well priced, some things more expensive than others. You must must must try the haloumi cheese and other delectables. The only down side is that the stalls are few. They sell foods and many different products that are of interest. If you want to put something back into the local people then this is a lovely place to pick up gifts or just tasty snacks for yourself! The market is open every Sunday from around 10 till 2pm but get there early for the best bargains and food.

There are far too many generic emo bands that play at this club. I do not enjoy the live music at all and that is what this place is made for. It have several levels with comfortable seating and many stages. The drinks are quite well priced but are usually weak and the people there are quite young. There is no sophistication at all and it can be quite tiring. The decor is dull and the staff are too. They send a newsletter that looks more exciting than it is listing loads of unknown silly teenage bands that are absolutely awful live and now worth paying for to see. I unfortunately do no recommend. Also there are often very scary pale 'photographer' kids that do not have a life that sort of stalk and skulk around.

Gay
Another gay/lesbian/bi place to go if you are part of or are into that scene. It has too many drag shows for my taste but can be a fun night out with well priced drinks and a friendly crowd. The atmosphere is always quite warm and welcoming but lacks the buzz. it is hidden away a bit so may be hard to find but it's worth it really. The music is great, all the stuff in the charts remixxed etc. The decor is alright with leather comfy sofas and nice lighting, the dancefloor needs work though. The staff are all very friendly and are easy to have a convo with.

Indie Central
This place is well known to be a little grotty, a little grungy and even a little stinky. It gets very hot and humid and sweaty so this isn't for people who are hygeine freaks. It does have a great atmosphere with plenty of alternative and indie kids in there that are far less intimidating that chavs and so it is usually a safe place to go. the lighting is good and the drink offers are even better. I would recommend going just to say you have gone. It is a legend of a place and especially for people wanting to get away from all the hip/hop trance clubbing type places. A must for any indie kid visiting cardiff!

PARTY!
I must admit even though it has a reputation to be full of chavs and townies, which it is, it has the most amazing dancefloor which takes up practically half of the whole space and the whole space is pretty big itself. The lighting is amazing with lasers and strobing. The bar is great, a little pricey but not too bad. The music is generic and up to date, remixes and such. The people there are usually fun and friendly but like I said there are many a chav and so this can be a bit daunting at times. Still, the dancefloor is definitely somewhere to visit. They also have a quieter room round the back which has a stage for live bands too which can be alright.

Chav central
Liquid is grotty, smelly and overpriced. It looks good from the outside but really isn't. If you like the whole 'chav' scene or are a 'townie' you will find many people like that there and so will fit in. The music is okay, generic stuff that is in the charts and is remixed. The lights are good but it is just the people that can be very loud and rowdy. The place is led up by stairs and they are usually covered in sticky drinks and sometimes even vomit if you are unlucky enough. many drunken people sliding down these stairs, stumbling and falling. not a classy night out, no sophistication but a laugh at that.

Fun!
This is an awesome place to go if you are into the whole gay/bi/lesbian scene. You will meet many friendly faces that are welcoming and should not be too intimidating. The drinks are of good value and the atmosphere is inviting and fun. The music is tasteful and up to date and the decor is just fantastic with an amazing indoor garden which is great for all you smokers out there. This is a vibrant place to go and you will definitely have an awesome time.

A warm friendly atmosphere to accompany the wonderful spicy food. It is a relaxing restaurant serving nice cuisine that will tantalise the tastebuds and leave you wanting more. The decor is lovely with vibrant reds and golds - you feel like you are actually in India it is amazing. the service is great and the staff treat you in a friendly and excellent manner. a very nice place to go with the family. The price is okay, a little expensive but it is worth the experience. please come again

I do like this little coffee shop / salad bar. It is a quaint place with a nice warm atmosphere, somewhere that is not commercial or overcrowded. The price are good and the staff are always cheery and helpful. The food is fresh and delicious and the décor is simple and chic. I would recommend coming here as it's a lovely place to hang out and relax due to it's mellow atmosphere - it's quiet and peaceful.

Pizza hut is great. Perfect for taking along your friends for a quick bite out together or even a more sophisticated family meal - it fits both. The decor is nice in the Cardiff one with multi levels and is nicely spaced out. The lighting I find is wonderful and the staff seem nice enough - never had any complaints about them. The tables are always clean and tidy. The food is lovely with lots of variety and tasty pizzas. The only thing is that the prices are quite high in Pizza hut apart from maybe the £4.99 deal or if you share a pizza with a friend.
