Been here a few times. Every visit the staff have been friendly and polite and the food has been excellent. From sandwiches to snacks, it's been very good. It's now my main sandwich bar when I'm in that part of London.

Like the above reviewer, I've had some weird and wonderful pizzas in my time but this place must rate as the worse pizza I've had in my life!

I ordered a simple pizza (ham & pineapple) form a very poor menu and requested extra garlic on it to give it a bit more taste.

The pineapple must've been standing around all week, the ham was tasteless.

Well, I say tasteless... I couldn't taste anything on the pizza except pickling vinegar! Yeah, the garlic was the 'easy use' stuff stored in glass jar and pickled. I only ate the thing as I was starving, but wished I hadn't.

If this was the last place open and you were desperate for food... eat your own foot!

I was introduced to this place a few years ago by friends. Since then I've been back many times.

You walk in to the bar/waiting area and if your tables ready you can go straight downstairs to the main restaurant.

It has a wonderful friendly, homely atmosphere and you are made to feel welcome.

An extensive menu with specials displayed on boards, the food is good and well presented.

Staff are friendly and helpful.
