It's obviously well located on the Southbank for transport links, places to eat etc. The auditorium itself is comfortable with good acoustics and a good view of the stage from almost everywhere. Wheelchair users are accommodated without fuss although there aren't that many spaces available. If you purchase the wheelchair spaces in the front row you will have to enter the auditorium via a goods lift and the artist's bar (swings and roundabouts I guess!). You will also be able to use the artist's bar at the interval. Disabled patrons can request parking if they have a blue badge. Taking into account access, audio quality and location, it's one of the better music venues in central London.

This is a nice little pub, the beer is pretty good and the food isn't bad either. The staff are friendly and helpful.

There is disabled access although the disabled loo is kept locked. It is not on the RADAR system (as far as I know) so you will need to ask for the key from the bar staff. The other toilets are upstairs.

There is normally a crowd of smokers on the pavement outside which makes access difficult for everyone, as the pavement is quite small. The doors are quite awkward as well for people with mobility issues.

It's a worth a visit but there are better pubs within walking distance on both sides of the river.

I love this pub. It is great. It's a traditional proper English pub right next to Westminster Cathedral (hence the name). The beer is very good and ridiculously inexpensive especially for central London. Because it is out of the way, it is usually quiet. I have not eaten here yet but would not mind betting it is worth a try.
It is probably not everyone's cup of tea (or should that be tipple of choice) but if you want modern and hip go somewhere else. If you want excellent value in a proper setting, with this pub you can't go wrong.

It serves excellent food which is mostly vegetarian. Couscous and rice both highly recommended. The staff were extraordinarily helpful and friendly, accommodating random dietary requirements with a smile.

We didn't know the premises was not licenced beforehand but that didn't matter because the food was so good. It was also ridiculously cheap considering how good it was. In fact we always pay way over what we are charged because it's so worth it.

It is located on one of the roads off the Headrow and is so small it's a case of blink and you'll miss it. This obscurity though makes it a (seemingly) undiscovered gem.

The staff are friendly and helpful- perhaps overly attentive when it's quiet. There is flat access.

It gets packed (really packed) with students at night and turns into a bar come club. The music's pretty good but it's too small for the number of people they cram in of an evening.

Much recommended for lunch and the aforementioned procrastination over coffee and worth it of an evening (just the once). Great craic but a bit like a sardine tin after a while.

The food is amazing, much recommended are the teriyaki chicken bento box and the vegetarian suschi. Green tea is free of charge. The desserts are also worth exploring, in particular the lovely green tea ice cream (much better than it sounds- promise).

The restaurant is quite small- if there are lots of you it pays to book ahead. The only toilet is upstairs but it's clean- always a good sign! There is quite a large step at the front door and the size of the restaurant means it's tricky for wheelchair users and people with buggies. The staff are friendly and efficient and will bring you a knife and fork if chopsticks aren't your bag! One of the best restaurants in Leeds, hands down.

A stone's throw from the joys of Upper Street and walking distance from Highbury and Islington Tube, this magical venue is made for music performance. Usually acoustic acts or indie bands, the acoustics lend themselves perfectly to such music.

The building itself is breathtakingly beautiful and the round set up of the seating contributes to an intimate feel. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

There is wheelchair access (although the ramp the bring out is fairly precarious) and an accessible loo. The bar is upstairs however and offically alcohol isnt allowed in the auditorium (it being a church and all that) so you're a bit stuck if you can't get up the stairs. As with all churches, the pews arent all that comfy so take a cushion. Despite these small grumbles, a great venue with brilliant music. Oh and if you forget your tickets (guilty)- don't worry there's always a list at the door.

There are room available- upstairs no lift.

The location is fabulous overlooking the moors and as the name suggest next to the cow and calf rocks. It is beautiful- as long as you ignore the road right next to it. Shouldn't complain though, it'd be awkward to get there without it. Top notch.

Lots of different people drink in here not just students which adds to its appeal. Located between the University/studentville and town it is a convenient place for a swift half on the way out for an evening. There are a couple of big steps at the front door which is quite heavy. There is another door without a step but it is narrow and the furniture on the other side of it is an obstacle.

There are apparently gigs on here from time to time but I have yet to catch one.

Usually full of students (it's on the otley run- all pubs on this best avoided during fresher's and rag weeks respectively) and if there's football on you won't get a seat or hear a conversation. There's a big step at the front door which can be tricky if you have trouble getting around.

That all said, they do an excellent pint, the staff are very friendly and people other than students drink in there. The roast dinners on a Sunday were always pretty good.

It's worth noting that they're pretty strict with closing time so you have to drink up quick if you're there later on. Enjoy!
