A good choice of well kept and well poured beers. Cosy inside and spacious, pleasant garden behind. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the menu is tasty and wholesome and good value for money especially before 7pm.
The Bar Billiards table is a fun novelty but I think the quiz is a bit too challenging though!

Disappointing. There are so many other nice, more interesting and cheaper places to eat. It's just not worth bothering with especially if like me you don't like your food too hot as even the mild things on the menu are big on chilli and low in flavour.
On the plus side the staff can be pleasingly absent minded about charging for drinks and an ordering cock-up was resolved in our favour.

I love Super Noodles. The chairs are a little uncomfortable but it doesn't matter because your food is prepared so quickly. Everything was fresh and tasty and you can't beat it for price (meal+beer=£7). Thoroughly recommended.

Nice and cosy with a good atmosphere and some good beer but the recent refurbishment is a bit synthetic. We know Chaucer wrote the Canterbury Tales so we don't need reminding every five minutes with quotes written on the walls!
