From the outside, and the inside, this place looks a little rough and ready. I was concerned about using it on the first couple of occasions. That and the cheapo items such as the pies and jars of pickles looked bad.

However, the meat here is very good. I have never been disappointed by the quality of the beef, pork, chicken and lamb. The rabbit is lovely.

My only complaint is that they could sell a little more game meat - such a pigeon or pheasant. But this is, despite the appearance, a good butcher.
