Friendly Place With Great Food.
I recently moved to larger home in Crouch End, having lived previously in a small flat in Hampstead and one of the deciding factors in the move for both me and my wife was this friendly and welcoming cafe. The owner, Ali, remembered our names on just our second visit and took a lot of trouble to help us and even spent some time giving us advice about the area. Although the food, especially the pastries, are excellent and a good enough reason to go in itself, the cafe seems to serve equally as a sort of friendly social club as whenever we pop in, we always seem to be meeting friends and neighbours. They also serve cakes ( a little too nice if you're on a diet), soup, bread, salmon quiche and probably a lot more that I've forgotten. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
