Recommend eating here pre-theatre (or any other time) - during the week any of their fantastic cocktails are 2 for the price of 1 between 5pm and 6pm - an offer too good to miss. Moving on to the food - it is always is of a good standard - the waiting staff are friendly and there is a great vibe and atmosphere in the restaurant.

Jerk it up
I've been to a few Caribbean restaurants, and think Cottons' reign supreme. I've never had any complaints here, my favourite dish is the Jerk Platter.

A fantastic array of rums and lively environment.

Cottons have now opened another restaurant in Islington, in an ex-pub, although this isn't as lively, the food is just as good, and its easier to park the car.

Spainish/Tapas Restaurant
Once again standards vary, on a busy weekend they don't cope too well, excessive wait for order to be taken and food can be luke-warm but have been there on other nights and had great tapas.

Avoid the Sangria as it is like flavoured water with no taste.

Nice touch at the weekends is a live Spainish singer.

Shame that sometimes it fails to deliver as the staff are so nice.

I've eaten here a few times and the service and standard of food does tend to vary. When its good, its great, but on a poor night it is frustrating as prices are a bit on the high side. I think its best to avoid weekends as they don't cope too well when the restaurant is crowded.

I recommend a Tuesday night when ladies only can eat 2 for the price of 1,a bit sexist I know for the boys, but I'm not complaining! The food doesn't set the world on fire, but for the price it's good value for a cheap night out.

This is my must visit restaurant whenever I'm in Brighton. The Lobster Thermidor is to die for!! It's not cheap here but the seafood and the service are of a high quality.

Great Thai
I've been eating here since the restaurant first opened and am pleased to say that standards remain high.

I've been to a few Thai restaurants and this is one of my favourites.

Recommended you book at the start of the week if you want a table on a Saturday night as gets very busy.

Past its best
I remember this as a great little wine bar/restaurant in the 90's but sadly it hasn't moved on from then. The service is amauterish and the food very nondescript. There are much better options to try along Station Road
