Pricey compared to up town
This is one of the first greek restaurants we went to, and if its the only one you ever go to then it comes out with high marks. The atmosphere is good if a little quiet, the food nice, and the fish course (whitebait) was a lovely addition. However at £17.50 a head for the meze compared to about £14 in many london based restaurants you'd expect it to be better. Since we live in upminster it's 100 times easier to get to but we still choose to make the treck up to our favourite one in Camedon (karavas) as it is better and worth the extra hassel.

This is a small quiet little restaurant, and as a result is rarely jam packed, this means that the large quantity of staff on hand have very little to do. I found the food to be lovely and well priced but the staff set me on edge. One particular waitress took to standing right behind our table (this meant myself n my partner felt like we couldnt talk loudly or openly) and topped up our drinks everytime we had some - and im not talking finishing the glass, i mean a few mouthfuls. soon as the glass was on the table she popped over to refill it. Chinese is invariably served in generous portions and this is no excpetion, so id advise that you only go in if it looks busy.

Best Greek have ever tried
Greek is one of my favourite cuisines so have been to quite a few different ones but this one is the one we come back to time and time again! its cheap at only £14.50 pp for the meze and they do a gorgeous greek wine, thisbe, for about the same price. Service is friendly and quick, the food delicious and generous! First course is the hot pita bread and dips (houmous, taramasalata, cucumber style one, prawns in rose marie sauce, plate of small prawns, crabstick, and another one) then a gorgeous greek salad with feta, with this comes a large plate of fried calamari and grilled king prawns. After these comes the meat course - lamb, chicken, greek sausage, haloumi and gammon... amazing. And if you still have room for dessert the greek yougurt with honey and crushed nuts is wicked, though i have to admit the cheesecake is rubbish - thick and stodgy!

Great for a bit of fun
To be honest i would recommend Yo! Sushi to anyone looking to try something new. They have a huge range and its all reasonably priced so it doesnt matter if you pick something your not too keen on. I went with my boyfriend and then loved it so much i took my mum the following week. Was fun picking all the dishes off the belt and trying to work out what they were in the menu book. Always i found that because i spent so long looking up what each dish was, waiting for it to come round etc, i ate a fraction of what i would normally eat so this made the meal even cheaper :) If your after a light, fun lunch then its the place to go!!
