Always had a good meal here but service quite slow.
It's now called something different but as with all these chain places they do that every 2years, why i can only think they arn't happy with the turnover of the place.Possibly an up market burger bar.

Another Punch pub co. disaster
This is not a staff friendly pub you'd get more chat out of a hangman when your at the gallows with a noose round your neck.But its a Punch pub so i should expect no better.If i drink bitter i want a bitter glass same with lager i expect a lager glass not in this joint,Bah humbug.Dropped my rating on this pub.

A Rustic Gem
Wheely your spot on here ol chap as you walk in the door you step back 20 years( i love it),we ordered a pizza to share which was very good. Range of beers and whiskies (if thats your bag) was good.Also its a freehouse none of this pub co. crap here.

A few of us called in and had a few drinks and some food.The pizzas were very good the other meals were quote "OK" the beer on the night was good but the lager was the worst pint i have ever had (Fosters)i quickly went on to the vino which again was good.

The place looks clean and we kept,food was very good only let down we all (10 of us)felt that we where rushed, no sooner starter plates taken mains started to arrive so it was not a relaxed meal.Saying that we will go again but will order our starters have them then order our mains.Cobra lager was great.
