Gem, near Brick Lane
What a fantastic restaurant near Brick Lane, on Bethnal Green Road,I-Pod docking station, Mocktail Bar, and food with no artificial colouring and fish from sustainable sources, this is the restaurant which took us by storm. The starters are excellent and so is the main course. The dessert of Maida Brownie sizzler, was to die for. Not to forget the very filling Oreo cookie milkshake. Prices are reasonable and service is very friendly.Also the small menu of Indo Chinese food ( fusion of indian and chinese ) was something new, especially the Lollipop Chicken, and Crispy Chicken Tai Pai. All in all excellent value for money. Also HMC approved Halal.
