An old favourite! Food is not brilliant but has a home-cooked feel and always a good atmosphere. In the summertime it's great to sit out in the back garden as it does feel like a mini Oasis. Only downside is when there are bands playing downstairs the noise can travel up through the floorboards if you're sitting near the back which isn't great fun.

Actually used to quite enjoy a very late afternoon brunch on a Sunday as you can sit for hours and talk, read, surf etc and pretty much be left in peace. The food's alright - wouldn't go out of my way for it but used to go there often when I lived locally.

Definitely in my top 3 favourite brunch places in London. Best time to go is on a bank holiday weekend, as strangely it's always pretty easy to get a table and you can stay for ages.
