Jack of all trades and that - if only they really concentrated on one particular style and nailed it right I think it would be really good.<br /><br />Incidentally, the staff were very friendly and the prices were affordable and I can see what it means by being child-friendly. I&#39;d drop in again if I were passing and peckish but I wouldn&#39;t make the effort to specifically go there.]]></description>

But like the other reviewer here, it&#39;s the little things that annoy you, especially the disorganised staff (typically three or four different people will serve you through the course of a meal, with inevitable confusion) and the fact you have to squeeze up to a till to pay does grate. Still, the food (especially the sashimi) is good and their heart&#39;s in the right place (with their commitment to sustainable fishing). Good for a quick stop-off any time.]]></description>

And the atmosphere is nice and lively, and the service fine.<br /><br />Also the house red wine wasn&#39;t too harsh - not expecting world class here obviously, but it didn&#39;t complement the meat at all.]]></description>

Overall, it was comfy, friendly and chilled out and overall quite enjoyable. But at the end of the day it was only priced a couple of quid more than I thought it deserved and in all other departments it won out - the ambience was great and the service more than friendly & hospitable.]]></description>

The food, while very nice, came in grievously small portions - &#0194;&#0163;11 for a ridiculously small shepherd&#39;s pie and a couple of tablespoons of peas didn&#39;t really do it for me. Neither did it live up to the fancy description on the menu (it was a pretty ordinary shepherd&#39;s pie to be honest) and my companion&#39;s prawn green curry looked like it had been made from a supermarket ready meal.
