Had a lovely evening though have to say the main course 'Seafood Pancake' was only just hot enough & was brought out as soon as our starters were taken away. The Brandy sauce was great so i feel it must have been fresh, The white wine we ordered (1/2 bottle Sancerre) was nice, and realy cold. Service was excellent. They could do with some air con as being a warm evening it got very stuffy with all the glass!

I've only been here once so don't feel I can give it 5 stars but the meal I had there was excellent. We had the lobster linguine and the parpadelle with boar sauce. Both were excellent. Portions are large.

Having read an article by AA Gill on the Fishclub I was dying to try the Fishclub on St Johns Hill.
The place could have had more tables and chairs as we had to go and have a drink elsewhere and come back and I think the decor was a little dodgy in places. They could utilise the space much better. But for an upmarket fish and chip shop it was pretty good.
We had oysters to start with onion viniagrette which were delicious and then battered cod and haddock with mushy peas, traditional chips and sweet potatoe chips. Actually thye choice of fish was pretty endless and you can have it cooked any way you so desire. I think next time I would have my fish grilled as the fish was a little lost in my batter. It was a gret experience -really good fun and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain all the menu and the variations on the menu.

The newly refurbished Brasserie has a a light and airy feel with a fabulous choice of french dishes and a great choice of fish dishes. ( I go out with a guy who is a piscatarian so this place is a real find).
We went on the bank holiday and the vibe was very relaxed but you can just go for cocktails and coffee. The place has a lovely fresh decor and the staff are french. Its not hustle bustle but I can imagine it gets pretty booked up at the weekend.
Will definitely go again and a nice addition to Wandsworth Common.

Numero Uno is one of those restaurants that you know will never let you down. Like a good friend I guess. Or one of those old favourite toys you had when you were a kid.

You know its always gonna be there. Its like you know that the décor and loos are a little bit shabby but you know deep in your heart it's a trusted place.

One of those places you go when you fancy a quick supper, somewhere you go with your sister and her children for lunch, somewhere you go with your boyfriend for a romantic dinner or somewhere that you can go on birthdays or other such celebrations!

The menu is awash with the most wonderful flavours, fresh produce and choices beyond belief. One of my favourite dishes is the lobster with linguine. It's melt in the mouth delicious. Huge lobsters served with unending reams
of pasta. I also love the pasta vongole ( clams , garlic!) The starters are good and huge carpaccio is a must for all meat eaters!!! The mains always generously sized ( again) with a great array of traditional Italian dishes such as veal (so un-pc) or sea bass cooked their way!

Wine is always at a high standard - even the house wine. (Which let's be fair at most places taste like rancid battery juice!)
But really the highlight for me is the desert trolley. It's every woman's dream. Chocolate profiteroles are my favourite, as is anything with caramel, lemons, apples, liquor, cream!!

So there It is the old faithful&a time and time again favourite&. but the one thing that makes this place really special is the staff the Italian waiters and waitresses who have been working there for years and years and know that their restaurant is an absolute treasure in South London. Always packed but somehow has managed to stay this guilty secret among us in the know!! Oh and by the way I am only telling you this because I like you.
