I like this place. Although the service can be a bit slow at the bar, the prices are good and the staff are polite. The food is relatively good for a Whetherspoons pub, you always get what you ask for, promptly, cooked well, and nicely presented. Another thing that makes it stand out from other pubs is the quality of the toilets (obviously I can only speak for Ladies), they are clean and not tatty, all the cubicles have locks that work, and almost as big as the pub itself!

This place may not look much from the outside, but inside it is quite something. It has a modern feel to it, looks stylish, and has a good atmosphere. The food is excellent, if a little pricey. However the quality of the food, service and the atmosphere make it worth the money. After paying your bill the ladies in the group get given a single rose to take home with them (and when I said my name is Maz they gave me a side plate with their logo on to take home too!)

Previously part of the 'Pumpernikels' chain, the owner seems to have recently gone indepent, whilst keeping the menu more or less the same, this place is now known as Café Culture. Execellent food and coffee (apparently the tea is quite good too with Organic Earl Grey included in the range available) at a reasonable price.
