Rather lovelyIf you're in Aber and you fancy Italian then you pretty much have to go to Little Italy, saying that though it really is lovely.

The food is good, nothing that'll surprise you too much, but it is nicely done and sensibly priced. It's almost essential to book for Friday and Saturday nights as it does get very busy. The whole place is in one terraced house which makes for some fantastic atmosphere and some very cramped seating! You'll want to sit upstairs if you can; the ground floor is even squashier than the first and you tend to get a good gust of sea air blowing in when the door opens.

The owner is very charismatic (a prerequisite for Italian places imho!) but all the people working there are very British and it would be lovely to hear a few Italian accents. Perhaps that's asking too much.

The best Italian meal you're going to have in Aberystwyth... and of course, the only one!

Good stuffUsual sort of Wetherspoons pub, great beer selection (especially generous guest lager selection too) and solid nosh. You'll not be disappointed... unless you smoke that is; this is one of those entirely non-smoking Wetherspoons you hear so much about but never actually find.

Best pub in AberMy favorite place to eat and drink in Aber; friendly staff and locals, very cozy pub, full of character. It's out of the way enough for only the intrepid students to find, and what a find it is! Some people might call it tatty, they might even be right, but for atmosphere you cannot beat it. The food is largely home made, there is an excellent selection of beer and it is all super cheap.

A trip to Aber is not complete without a trip to the fountain.

Not as good now its changed handsThis place used to be quite something, a cool, modern bar with a friendly landlord and top notch pub grub. Unfortunately, it seems to have gone down the nic a bit now somebody else has taken over (although I hear recently it has got better). Its on the expensive side for the town, but they have an excellent larger selection (lacking in bitter really) and DJs on on Friday & Saturday nights. Wetherspoons next door gives them a run for their money, undercutting them on pretty much everything; if you're willing to pay you do end up with funkier surroundings.

There is a strictly enforced no hats policy (last time I was in anyway).

Good stuffFriendly owner, good food and funky, modern decor make this place my favorite place to grab a snack in the area. The all you can eat breakfast buffet on Sundays is quite something and a bargain too if you get enough down you.

Very funkyI've been there twice now, once when it first opened and again a few months ago. I'm pleased to say they've ironed out the problems I suffered with slow service the first time and now it's really a first rate place to eat. Funky interior, top notch service, well presented food and tasty to boot. Nothing to complain about.

Very aptly named pubThis pub is in a location so it really is Hobsons Choice to go there, they are on the expensive side and it's not one of my favorite places to go to. It is very family friendly and their meals are hearty if not inventive. Not my sort of place, but it is often hard to get a decent table so obviously not everybody agrees with me!

Standard sort of WetherspoonsUsual sort of Wetherspoons really, traditional design, nice cheap beer and good food. It all gets quite interesting upstairs though as it turns into a rather odd library with hundreds of very bizarre books lining the walls. Quite a spectacle.

Really specialI've been on it three times now, never quite managed to make it on a really clear day though. Whatever the weather it's a really spectacular, graceful ride and there's nothing quite like it. They do discount Eye and boat trip tickets that are well worth looking into.

Really very goodIt's a Wetherspoons pub, but it is one that they've done up and it really looks good for it. Good nosh, excellent drinks selection and all very cheap. Especially nice in good weather as they open up the front of the pub and you get a nice bit of sun in.

Has to be my favorite Wetherspoons pub; they just get everything right.

Usual sort of Weatherspoons reallyThis is a typical Weatherspoons pub; cheap food, cheap drink and rather tatty furniture. The staff are nice though and the regulars are friendly and numerous, although their ranks seem to be dwindling now they have made the smoking section *really* small. You'll not be surprised, but you won't be disappointed either.

Funky but on the expensive sideA nice, well looked after pub; traditional but with style. Great range of lager but lacking any serious bitter really and all the drinks are rather on the expensive side. Nice beer garden though, great on sunny days. I've never tried the food but they look like light pub meals from the menu.

Good, but not specialThere are lots of good places to eat in Leatherhead and this is no exception. Average prices, good service and decent food. You wont be disappointed but neither will your socks be blown off.

It's a student pub so you'll need an NUS card to get all the benefits of this place, but even without student discount it's one of the cheapest pubs I've found in London. The food was excellent too, it wasn't fancy but it was good old fashioned pub grub and they did it well. The music might have been a little loud for some peoples tastes, but I loved it!
