The wine list is suberb, the atmosphere lovely, and the food is brilliant. The service has always been great whenever my wife and I have eaten there.

Putney isn't exactly a hot-bed of fine dining, though there are some great restaurants. But Enoteca rises to the top of my list when I think of top-quality restaurants in Putney. Always a fabulous dining experience.

That said, walking by virtually any evening and the place is busy for a reason!

Solid menu, great service, relaxed environment with prices that are a good value for what you get.

The decor is a bit anonymous, but it never really bothered me.

Great food every time I've been there... absolutely recommended!

Spectacular!

The ambiance is very nice, with lots of space for customers, high ceilings, and a general openness. Black & Blue also has the best hamburgers I've ever been able to find in the entire city of London.

Heartily recommended as a great steak and seafood restaurant!

Unfortunately, it's the worst-kept secret in town, and it seems that every time I've managed to get there recently it's been absolutely jam-packed.

If it's summertime, the small outdoor area is a beautiful place to share some bottles of wine with friends. If you're looking for a cozier time, try to get one of the tables inside that seems to have been only recently dug out of the ground. (Very cave-like, and VERY low ceilings.)

As for the wine menu, it's fantastic. Lots of variety, and good value for money.

This is one of the more unique central London establishments I've been to, and heartily recommend it.

All seven courses were absolutely stupendous, and the sommelier chose an excellent "flight" of three wines to accompany the menu. My wife chose from the standard menu and was also nicely surprised by the power and subtlety of tastes in each dish.

If you can get a reservation, this restaurant is a must-taste!

Phone: 020 8785 4522
Fantastic restaurantHudson's is simply a fantastic restaurant. Located on Lower Richmond Road in Putney, it is close to the river and convenient to public transportation.

The food is simply consistently great. I live nearby and the food is always good, usually great. The service is very friendly and professional, and it keeps the aura of an outstanding local neighborhood restaurant. Many of the chairs have been reclaimed from church sales, so there's just a bit of fun quirkiness to the ambiance. They have seating outside, in a conservatory, and other cozy spaces.

The menu has items to suit every taste, from burgers to pastas to comfort food and more. You will always find something you like here, and it will always be good.
