We tend to start off with the house special, the Tamnag Thai Platter - an assortment of starters, followed by Pud Thai noodles, Chicken in Red Curry, Jasmine Rice and either a Prawn or a Beef dish.

The service is a bit hit or miss, so we tend to go in for the early evening sitting to avoid the rush and ensure we have the place mostly to ourselves.

Great Food, Great Food, Great Food. We went here for lunch and it was recommended by a friend as they do a cheap lunch which is great value for a fiver. The lunch includes one dish and either garlic bread or salad. We hoped to take my mum and dad there as well but went another time on a Sunday and the lunch special oddly isn't offered then. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed watching a waiter taking a pint of lager to a table and jokingly placing it down in front of the a boy before moving it to his dad. The boys face was a complete picture! Would go back a lot.

A lovely traditional italian restaurant set in the heart of Crystal Palace. I have been to this restarant a few times and the service has always been very good. Staff are willing to help. One of their specials at Lorenzos is one of their selected dishes for £3.95 which is an absolute bargain considering what you're getting! The restaurant s decorated to a very high standard with traditional italian plates on the wall. I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone especially if they are considering odering the specials. There is a lovely desert list to choose from including ice cream and tiramasu. A definate visit if you are in the area.

In this case is written in plural so the bullfighters should be "Los toreros". I better have a double amontillado now before I get gored. Adios.

It has a great atmosphere - very relaxing and chilled without being too "quiet". Best coffee/choc ever, good beer & wine, good food = mainly veggie chunky chips, salads, fish. It also has yummy desserts and cakes - you have to try the rich chocolate torte.
Most importantly of all, is it serves lovely coffee, and HOT WHITE CHOCOLATE which is DIVINE!! So go there immediately and order one!
There's a lovely sunny garden at the back which is great in summer.
The service is a bit "hit and miss" so don't go there if you're in a hurry!!

It can even rival the best Thai restaurants in Thailand. The food was served quickly and presented beautifully (many dishes are decorated with carved vegetables). The staff were very attentive. Six of us shared a platter of mixed starters and giant grilled king prawns, both of which were delicious. For the main course I had the Chilli Crispy Duck with noodles and lemon grass with rice. WOW! It was delicious and perfectly cooked! I can't think of a bad word to say about it. It was a perfect evening! I couldn't believe how busy it was, even on a monday night. It was one of our friends birthdays so I went to the bar and spoke to Sam (one of the waiters) and he organised a surprise desert for us. It was very touching and it really completed an already perfect evening. Just before we left, the waitress presented a hand painted silk parasol as a birthday present to our friend.

We had a wonderful night and will definitely come back.

Thank you Tamnag Thai!

Which is odd, when salmon, cod and eggs were on the menu! I can cope with veggie sausages, but veggie bacon just looks and feels wrong. The sandwich was served in massive doorstep slices, which was great, and I also had a side order of lovely chunky chips. My friend had scrambled eggs with salmon and sill, and he felt that the dill was too overpowering for the fish.

Service was friendly, although at the start we felt like we were being served by a school teacher who would give us lines if we didn't clear our plate! This was reinforced by the menu which stated 'NO SUBSTITUTIONS' on the full English breakfast option, which I felt was unncessary. (I remember being told in a Littlewoods cafe years ago that the breakfast was 5 items for £1.49, and if I wanted Item 5, a tomato, removed -not substituted- I would be charged extra, so maybe I am just sensitive to these kind of rules!) I am sure they have their reasons, but if it's such as issue then just price the items separately. NO SUBSTITUTIONS just made the place seem regimented. As I say, I'm probably too sensitive and in reality, this is just a minor niggle, and Domali is well worth a try. Sipping rich, hot chocolate on a wet Sunday afternoon in October, as the daylight fades and the streetlights come on, is one of life's simple pleasures, and I will definitely be back.

But then again I once had my birthday party there, so you can safely assume it'll live up to your expectations whatever they might be.

They used to have DJs at weekends, playing anything from 70s soul to modern chill-out, but I haven't been there recently, so can't really say whether this is still the case.

The garden is a bit poky, but since we don't have summers in this country any more, this shouldn't be much of a problem.

Warm, welcoming, and delicious pub grub in huge portions! In a fantastic part of the world, this pub has it all with a great mix of pub grub and Welsh specialities, as well as a good range of wines and ales. There is usually a mixed crowd in here with the younger people towards the front of the bar. The pub is cavernous - there are two big rooms out the back where food is also served - as well as a large function room. Enjoy!

It gets so busy now on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights that it's necessary to book, or wait in line and munch on the free prawn crackers.
A special offer is available at lunchtime with a glass of wine, starter and main for less than a tenner. The food is always extremely well presented and authentic in flavour and appearance, and it's a great place for Thai fans or those looking for an introduction to the cuisine.
Oh, yes, the spiral staircase always gives me a case of the eeby-jeebys when I go there but I'm a strange person with a stairphobia so it may not be that bad for normal people!

I work from home and it is a tasty treat for all my hard work. Lunchtimes is the preference for food as the specials such as the salmon bruschetta (wow) are half price. I'm not a cheapskate but I wouldn't pay full price for the same meal a few hours later. However, the happy (2) hours are worth checking out - half price cocktails etc and I love their Champagne Cocktails. Lovely little garden and one of the only places in Crystal Palace that has table service, huge chunks of cheese on toast, freshly made detox juices and the chance of catching some rays on a sunny day!
