The food is very good but there are possibly slightly better (and less well known)Thai places around the Fulham area. As many people have mentioned it is a very nice place to go on a special occasion, the food does not quite match up with the price. The atmosphere was good (on a saturday) and not at all pretentious. Booking early is important on certain nights, although this was a while ago, not sure if it is still as popular. Service was not very quick but it was a busy evening.

Overall, definitely worth it for the experience but there are certainly better value places around.

On the good side, the food is nice, not exceptional but fine, though my boyfriend found his pie far too strong tasting and the staff are very attentive despite being really busy. The other side is that you cannot book, and have to wait in the corridor or bar where you are mostly in the way. However once you get your table, it is well worth it and is reasonable in price too. I didn't find that there was enough food though and that the tables are very close together. We were placed right on top off another couple.

Or you may be seated near the front of the resturant, which is also good for watching passers by. The food itself is mixed and varied; ranging from burgers and fries to mushroom pie. I opted for the latter and was nicely surprised to find fresh vegetables came with my very well done pastry pie. The price is middle of the range, and in no way prohibitively expensive. Fine, if you like over-cooked, over-salty food. The starters are far and away the best stuff here. The rest is very bog standard but what can you expect from an "all you can eat" buffet? You get what you pay for - only here, you get marginally less than you pay for because it's quite expensive for what you get! It's ok for a night out with friends when good food isn't top of your list of priorities, but you wouldn't seriously eat out here!

I left unsure what I felt about it. Don't get me wrong, I left full, happy and stunned at the decor, but something just wasn't quite right.

Reading the other reviews, I feel distinctly in the middle of the two camps.

The setting and decor is different - there is no doubt about that. A thai styled, slightly more up market version of the Rainforest Cafe perhaps? I'm being cruel - the setting is stunning, and I can imagine that if you had a quite little table tucked away in a corner then it could be very romantic.

We had no real issues with the service when we went - they were polite, prompt and attentive. If anything they were perhaps a little over attentive. Sometimes you just want to be left to enjoy the meal, and the designated driver doen't really want the waiter to come and refill his wine glass every 5 minutes.

The food was also ok. By no means the best Thai food in London, but I have also had a lot worse. While I am familiar(ish) with a Thai menu, the rest of the party were not, so we played 'safe' and went for a set menu. I suspect that this was a mistake. I don't think much of it was prepared fresh to order and the portions were very small. My advice, steer clear of the set menu.

Prices? Very expensive for what you get. I guess the upkeep on the Koi Carp, streams and waterfalls must be very expensive.

All in all, it was actually quite average.

We still had a fantastic night though. Makes you realise doesn't it - choose who you go with carefully as the company can make all the difference!

But if you are looking for value for money, then I'd try somewhere else.

I went here for a friends birthday and although I could not fault the anything in particular, the whole expeierence was a huge let down.

The food although tastey, in my opinion is servered in rather small prtions, the service while attentative also felt slighty intrusive and the prices as mentioned I did not feel offered any value for money.

They do have a personal touch, and a unique seting for diners however you can get the same quality food for much less at local resurants.

If you are looking for something fancy and money is no object then this is a good choice.

If you're just looking for some great thai food without the frills then I'd keep looking.
