I was there a few weeks ago with a friend, who told me that he knew a good place in East Dulwich doing a very good pizza. When he brought me into a pub, I laughed at him! I stopped laughing when I was served one of the best pizzas I ever had in London.

If you hate the tick, overblown "American style" pizzas and you favour the crisp, tasty base, then you should definitively pay a visit to this place and you won't be disappointed.

I don't give them the five * because unfortunately the choice on the menu is rather limited.

Apart from that, I had a wonderful pint of Adnams ale. But I have to say that I am not an authority in beer as in food ;-)

The atmosphere is friendly - not to locals only - and there are a couple of interesting other things such as a vintage Pac Man coin op - table version and a pool.

We did like all food, we had a mix of Chiken Tikka and Lamb Tikka. My favourite is as always Tandoori King Prawns, which was also very good.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere warm and friendly. Overall, I think this is one of the best Indian restaurant of the area, and definitively worth a visit.

Better to book a table if you want to sit. Food is simply one of the best in the area, they have a mouth-watering Mediterranean menu with a wide range of sandwiches (Try Dalí, Gaudí and, of course, the Special of the Day), salads and meat dishes.

I especially recommend to try chicken or special of the day, with balsamic vinegar & mustard... deliciousss.
