Take a walk on the Dulwich sideThe Gowlett pub rocks... I was there a few weeks ago with a friend, who told me that he knew a good place in East Dulwich doing a very good pizza. When he brought me into a pub, I laughed at him! I stopped laughing when I was served one of the best pizzas I ever had in London.

If you hate the tick, overblown "American style" pizzas and you favour the crisp, tasty base, then you should definitively pay a visit to this place and you won't be disappointed.

I don't give them the five * because unfortunately the choice on the menu is rather limited.

Apart from that, I had a wonderful pint of Adnams ale. But I have to say that I am not an authority in beer as in food ;-)

Great Indian night at East Dulwich...When we arrived at Tandoori Nights yesterday evening at East Dulwich, we were instantly attracted by this small, cosy place.
And it is always busy! This place seems like it is very well known, so don't forget to book in advance...

The Channa Chapati starter is a good choice. We did like all food, we had a mix of Chiken Tikka and Lamb Tikka. My favourite is as always Tandoori King Prawns, which was also very good.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere warm and friendly. Boulevard DelíBoulevard Delí rocks! I had the pleasure of working in Covent Garden for a few months and I often went there.

The place is cosy but very small, and it tends to get crowded and noisy at lunch during the week. Better to book a table if you want to sit. Food is simply one of the best in the area, they have a mouth-watering Mediterranean menu with a wide range of sandwiches (Try Dalí, Gaudí and, of course, the Special of the Day), salads and meat dishes.

I especially recommend to try chicken or special of the day, with balsamic vinegar & mustard... deliciousss.

A wonderful venue to spend a great evening with your friends! Plenty of Belgian draft and bottled beers to choose from (do you know already know Leffe? Try Brugse Zot...).

Food is also good, with about 10-12 main dishes to choose from and 7-8 startes. More variety would be welcome, but ok... The steak is very good, go for it. Ah, and the typical Mussels with Frites, of course!

Sapori is a great venue for having a delicious dinner out with your friends. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel very well.

I often go there and I had Pizzas (try pepperoni, vegetariana and bufala) and Pastas ('linguine al cartoccio' is definitively a must). Food is great and they have also a good list of european and world wines.
