Baker and SpiceThis is a small chain. Food is great.
It is not cheap. The coffee is alright not great.
Cakes and pastries superb. The staff is international and friendly. On the tables, you can find an almighty chunk of butter :) wonder who eats all that...

good option in west hamsteadLa Brioche has good pastries and that might be the only reason to go there.
The coffee is quite average.
The eggs Benedict is average as well.

The coffee is great.
I tried Habib chicken and it was very tasty.
My friend had a very good wrap with humus.
I wasn't so impressed with the lasagna.
It is pricy but that's Maida Vale...
All is the food is home made. You can get a daily email with what is cooking at Amoul. try once is enoughI totally agree with 'the Wagamama of Mexican food'
This definitely not street market food it is a westernized version (nothing wrong with that but the current branding is misleading) We had good experience with the staff although we had to wait 1 hour for a place (didn't mind- we just went to porterhouse to have a pint)
Nice if them to give you some chili seeds to plant at home!
The place is over designed in my opinion.

Santa MariaI heard many good things about this place and had a bad experience. My steak was chewy and my friend's steak was so rare that she had to stop eating it (asked for medium).
The dessert that we got was disappointing as well.

The RedchurchRedchurch used to be a jem in bricklane.
We have been there many times and had great time.

2 months ago the owner has changed.
He decided to make it into a cocktail bar.
It is obviously trying to be a bit like Lounge Lover and the evident is in the eclectic decor which was added recently like the animal head attached to the wall.

The place is overpriced with no reason. When you order Rum&coke you automatically get a double one and it costs you 6£. if you want to get a single one it will cost you 5£-THIS IS CHEEKY!
Caipirinha costs 7.5£ and it is badly made.
The staff has been trained to ask you every 32 seconds if you are 'OK for drinks?'....'OK for drinks?'....'OK for drinks?.... LEAVE ME A LONE! That's it. I am not coming back there. Fab deli!What a great place for lunch! It is a shrine for food!
I always get lost in it and not sure what to choose because there are so many gorgeous looking things! Some mains changes everyday: veggie curry, lasagna, sausages&mash,meat balls, couscous etc... portion are huge and around 5-6 pounds for take away. There are limited places to sit in.
They use mommouth coffee so should be good (Haven't tried yet...) The staff is funny! Dressed up like German Heidi and very very sever! If someone is making a mistake it won't pass easily... cute jazz barGreen Note is a cute jazz bar in the nicest street in Camden (parkway). I was there twice- the first time I listened to the house band and they were fantastic. The second time we saw a guy playing folk and that was a bit unbearable.. check what's on and then try to listen in Myspace before going...
The veggie food is good- we had a tapas selection: homous,wedges,Indian potato patties,spanakopita and dolmades
