those were the daysi always remember the valentes ice-cream as a kid.

under new management now, but its still great icecream in great surroundings. i really must make the effort to get down there before the sun goes in for the winter!!!

The place to beFree pool on sundays, regular live music and a proper open-top table football machine. Wine is ordered by the colour not the taste and beer is by the pint.

and diet coke by the can but it has a good sized garden and all you want from a pub.

Under a railway bridgesituated under a railway bridge is the whistlestop. its now a very nice place to go (since the smoking ban) as before the smoke tended to settle in teh high ceilings.

now its nice and airy, great food at reasonable prices. its a bit out of town and no where to park but its worth the extra effort imo.

Real Good Puba real nice pub with a real good atmousphere, and a great location near the harbour (unless the wind is blowing in the wrong direction on catch day!!)

awesomethis place is great. its everything thats wrong with a restaurant but it makes it great. yes a bit eugh, and the rudeness of staff is second to none. but if all you want is a cheap quick chinese meal then this is the place to go.

you also have to go just to experience the place.
