Rating: 3.0

Phone: 020 7836 3233

Website: http://www.nealsyardsaladbar.co.uk
I went to Neil's Yard excited about the idea of a salad bar... Maybe this was my mistake, expecting there to be salad - but can you blame me, with a name like that?

Upon going in, I saw that salad bar actually meant 4-5 different mayonaise-filled concoctions.. To me, salad has lettuce.. and lots of other nice vegetables or meats added to it.. typically, salads should be quite light and healthy... It just wasn't the case here nor was it my expectation.

We sat upstairs and the table service was some of the slowest I have ever received in London. We ordered some hot food and it was bland and lukewarm... and still took such a long time to get to us even though it looks like there isn't much that is made on the spot (sort of premade offerings, like a cafeteria style).

I would not recommend this place unless you just want to come in the summer months to take advantage of their nice location and tables outside... I'd also stick with things like smoothies and coffee just to be on the safe side... anything else is at your own risk!

Lush is the name and lush is the aroma that hits you, even before you go in to the store. It is a treat for the senses. The array of handmade and hand mixed soaps, bath bombs and shampoos are fantastic. I would not say that they are cheap mind you but if you fancy a bit of good old fashioned pampering then head on down to lush and snap up a few of your favorite bath time treats. The nice touch is that they always state on the item who lovingly hand mixed the item you are buying, which makes them a little bit more special. Some of the soaps are truly fantastic. Go on treat your self, a little luxury goes a long way

Tags: helpful staff smell gorgeous nice packaging
You can smell this place before you see it, the aroma of delicious smelling bath and body lotions and potions is the thing that draws some people in - it smells so good!

All of the products in Lush are handmade and use only natural ingredients. They are famous for their bath bombs which fizz when they are put under running water. All of the products are made using vegetarian ingredients and many are also suitable for vegans and they claim their make up range is the only one completely suitable for vegans sold on the UK high street.

Their products often have quirky names like a cleanser called 'angels on bare skin' or a moisuriser called 'skin nanny'. Prices vary from a few pounds to £25 for certain moisurisers but the products are really good quality.

Best of all if you don't live near a shop they do mail order so you need not miss out!

Very quirky and unusuallt inviting shop offering beauty products made from almost completely natural ingredients! An extremely diverse product range from soap and shampoos to facial scrubs and lip balms with unusual names and scented according to their product ie chocolate body cream, smells of chocolate but doesnt taste of it (sadly)!

Creams are very decadent and rich, leaving skin feeling oh so soft and amazingly smelling of the products used! At Christmas offer nice gift sets at reasonable prices, which are worth buying to use yourself during the year!

Definitely worth a visit but some products would be a real treat as can be expensive so be warned! There are a number of these shops in the UK as they are a chain cant think where else I have seen them but there is definitely one in Chester!

The Lush store in telford is one of the largest I have seen. It is excellentely laid out and has a really good range of products. A majority of the things are so fresh they have expiry dates on!

The staff here are so friendly and are always on hand to offer some sort of freebie and trials.

I love Lush because everything is made with natural wholesome ingredients. I have always been put off by the price but recentely treated myself and was not dissappointed. The bath bombs are my favourite and leave you feeling so relaxed and your skin beautifully soft.

I can't recommend Lush enough!

Oh my gosh!
I LOVE lush, this Lush is just one of the many that I visit very frequently.Lush sell products which are made mostly out of natural ingredients. Most of which are very quirky so they're very unusual. One thing i'm using at the moment is porridge soap, it's a basic soap which smells like porridge with porridge oats in it to exfoliate as well!
One of my other favourite things from Lush are there face masks, they're very fresh and make my skin feel amazing.
Some things can be quite expensive (some moisturisers are £25), but lots of things are cheaper. Go and check it out for a treat!

Thatâ¬"s hard to find so being so close to Covent Garden market.
They have many tables inside and also outside, with heaters in case it gets cold.
Any kind of juices, smoothies and cafes are available, and of course, tasty desserts to go with them. They also have more food, but I havenâ¬"t tasted yet. The prices aren't cheap and don't accept credit cards with is a mess.

Especially if you're used to Brazilian prices, but even if you're working on the London norms, your wallet will not like this place. However, your taste buds probably will. Even avid meat eaters like me found plenty to 'mmm' about in the predominantly veggie/vegan menu. The portions are generous, meaning you may be able to split a large main course between 2 and the options available are not your average fare. Its run by Brazilians so there's a healthy influence of 'comido' on the menu, though I couldn't bring myself to try the vegan feijoada (I mean the crazy hunks of unidentifiable meat is the point of feijoada isn't it?) or the ludricrously overpriced fresh fruit juices (£4 a pop). Despite the price factor, though it is all-in-all a very pleasant place to enjoy a tasty meal on a warm summer day. The sheltered outdoor location is a funky, yet tranquil haven in the midst of the Covent Garden craziness, so why not swing by and check it out. Nice bogs n'all!
