Excellent Restaurant!My wife and I love this place! If we find ourselves child-free for the weekend we always try to find an excuse to go to Rowleys.
The staff are always very attentive (without over doing it) and the food is excellent, usually seasonal and locally produced where possible. I can not give a specific recommendation for you as I have something different every time and have never been disappointed.
You pay a little more at Rowleys than you do at many other restaurants, but when you taste the food you will understand why!
Be sure to book in advance as they are usually busy.

Turkish Delight! (Sorry)Zeugma was recommended to us by a friend, so we booked our monthly work outing at the restaurant.
first impressions weren't great - the place is small and sparse, it looks more like a take-away than a restaurant but we stuck with it.
The menu was varied with no shortage of interesting dishes, the wine list was a little sparse but as the designated driver this didn't bother me too much.
We ordered a selection of starters, all of which were delicious (especially the spicy sausage) and since I couldn't decide on a main course I chose the mixed plate which contained chicken kebabs, lamb kebabs, a spicy mince kebab, rice and salad - it too was very tasty.

If you're looking for a romantic meal for two or are trying to impress a client then Zeugma is not the place to go. But if you're looking for a delicious, reasonably priced meal then it is definitely worth checking out.

If over-priced, low-quality food lathered in sugar and fat, served by a nauseatingly over-exuberant waitress is your cup of tea - you'll love this place!
If not, steer clear.

Been twice, both times been "forced" to have the set taps menu (due to attending in a large party).
Both times the food has been very tasty, but I have left the restaurant feeling hungry. The service is good and the atmosphere is great, but I want a meal, not a snack! :)

Touted by many as the best curry house in Sheffield, Nirmals is certainly good - but the best? I'm not sure. I find the choice of starters a bit limited, in my two visits to this restaurant I have tried the Prawn Puree and the Fish Tikka, neither of which I enjoyed.
The mains are better, they have a good selection of interesting specials along with the usual standard menu options you would expect. Vegetarians are also well catered for.
If you've got room for desert, the fresh mango is excellent, as is the home made pistachio & coconut ice cream.
Service is friendly, efficient and attentive. Overall, a good eating experience.

I'm not a fan of Jamie Oliver, I find his lovable rogue act a little grating. However, since my wife has a soft spot for the Mockney rebel I booked us in to Fifteen as an anniversary surprise.
After a couple of (very good) Margheritas we headed down into the restaurant where we both went for the 7 course tasting menu with the accompanying wine package to boot.
Now - I can tell you that the first four courses were exquisite and the wine was fantastic... however, I'm afraid the rest of the evening disappears into a bit of a blur. I'm told I liked all of the remaining dishes and I've no reason not to believe my wife so I'll grade this restaurant as a 5.
Unfortunately (for my wife), we didn't get to meet the grinning loon himself, though he was present at the restaurant. He was doing the rounds of the tables while we were eating "alright matey" "'ows yer beef me old cocker?" etc, but unfortunately (for my wife) Johnathan Ross was at the table behind us and Mr Oliver decided he'd much rather talk to him than to the unknown and innebriated peons at the next table - oh well, never mind :)

Without a doubt the best Sushi restaurant in Sheffield - though, to be honest, I think it's the only one!
The sushi is always excellent and the soft-shell crab starter is to die for!
If you and your friends fancy something a little more interactive, the teppanyaki table is great fun.
Not the cheapest restaurant in Sheffield, but certainly one of the best.

A wonderful restaurant!
I've never had a bad meal at Vito's the food is always cooked to perfection and Vito can always recommend the perfect wine to accompany the meal. It's impossible for me to recommend the best dish, I've had something different every time and they've all been fantastic!

Delhi Junction is a rather different Indian restaurant than we are used to in t'North. It's set in one of the more upmarket areas of the city and this is reflected in the ambience and the price.
The food is tasty and the service attentive, perhaps a little too attentive - It's the only place I've ever been admonished by the waiter for eating my mixed starter in the wrong order! The fish first, then the meat - what a heathen I am!

The fact that the restaurant is named after a highly dangerous radioactive metal should have warned me!
The food was poor but the cherry vodka was very nice. Hopefully they've invested in more furniture since my visit - the rickety wooden chair I was given couldn't hold my 11st frame and I ended up in a pile on the floor (before consuming any alcohol)!

Since I became a Dad my trips to Butler's have all but disappeared, but this used to be, without a doubt, my favourite Indian restaurant in Sheffield. The chicken puri and the lamb patia are highly recommended!
