The menu very much like the brown dog down the road being traditionally english but with a few more choices. The menu was a lot cheaper than our other locals. Scotch beef and ale pudding was delicious and filling, the quiche was great...fantastic pastry! We had a good selection of cured meats to share for starters(although not british). Puddings were traditional and tasty...rhubarb and almond tart with a good dollop of clotted cream and a very smooth chocolate tart... A selection of real ales would have been great but unfortunately only spindrift was on offer.
