Tags: expensive, family & home feel
Hugely dissapointingWe came here as a large group late one Sunday as they could cater for children, there were 13 of us. They did cater well for the little ones with toys and a tv set up with videos but that is where the good stuff ends. Apart form us there was one other table of 2, getting the first round of drinks took over 30 minutes. The menu on offer on the website ( a set menu) wasnt available and no one apologised about this, it was just a case of oh well we dont do it now, havent done for months. Well dont advertise it then. The food was expensive, not very warm, the portion sizes varied hugely and meals were forgotten. Despite being the only people (apart from a table of two) it was nearly impossible to get the waiting staffs attention and getting a second round of drinks took even longer than the first. we were not even offered dessert or coffee. We will not be back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, unless you like terrible service and overpriced food.

Small and cosy a real effort has been made to make the place nice and there is a really sweet little garden out the back. The drinks are not expensive as they can be at buffets. The staff are friendly and the food is constantly refreshed even when it is quiet. For somewhere so small they have a good range of options, maybe about 8 meat dishes and 10 dishes using meat substitutes, as well as veg options and salads. Highly recommended.

Tags: romantic, thai, expensive
To thai for This has for a long time been considered the best thai in Glasgow, althought there are new comers on the scene now. The setting is lovely if some what dated compared to the likes of Thai Lemongrass. It offers a quiet and subdued atmosphere with wonderful food, that is very authentic. The staff are wonderful and very helpful, the hardest part is choosing what to have. I have never been disappointed with the food. The atmosphere and slightly (thought not much) higher price make this one for a special occasions.

While it was not as good as it should have been the steaks were amazing. We arrived 10 minutes late to be told our table was not ready and waited a further 30 minutes before being seated on the top floor. We waited in the fab bar and enjoyed a cocktail. The top floor is stunning with very low lighting and an intimate atmosphere, so much so my Dad could hardly read the menu! Our waitress was great but it took a long time to order wine and to get it. I did love the way they bring the steaks to you and explain about the cuts. Our starters were disappointing, a lot of money for not very much food, before they had even been cleared from the table I saw someone standing waiting with our mains, too fast! I went to the bathroom and came back to find my steak was cold, no surprise, we sent back the steaks and sides and were brought new ones, which were fantastic, melt in the mouth. We didnt have dessert , no space and my Dad loved his burger. I spoke to the manager and explained we were disappointed at the lack of table on arrival and the fact our mains had left the kitchen before we'd finished your starters, he obviously knew our service that night was unacceptable and immediately took the drinks off the bill. I was disappointed by the service which at these prices should be faultless but the steaks were amazing, will I be back? Yes but now I've found trusted places there are so many other places to try that it won't be for a while!

The main dinning room is stunning and the night we visited(our 1st wedding anniversary) there was music in the from of a pianist playing a mixture of classic and modern tunes. The service is exemplary and the food is wonderful. I think we paid about 120 euros for 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert, 2 coffees and aperitifs, 2 bottles of water and a bottle of wine. Not cheap but not expensive for the type of restuarent it is. All of the food was suberp and everyone elses looked good too.
