I haven't ben to the one in Fulham but to the one in Monmouth street covent garden. I think the building used to be one of the many chinese paces in the area......

The waiters are friendly and know about the menu. The pizzas are excellent and really remind me of what you get in those little pizzerie in Italy. You can tell they import most of the ingredients as the pizzas taste authentic...this place is not like a pizza express!!

A pizza will set you back about £9 and pasta about the same which is not ridiculus for this part of town

The only slightly negative thing for a non italian speaker is the menu is pretty much in Italian so if you're not familiar with those rural cheeses some of the ingredients will appear to be alien but the waiters will gladly help you through it.....

If you need somewhere to go pre theatre than i would highly recommend this place

Since then i have purchased numerous cakes for any given occasion, but i will say that the pastries are better, seem fresher and the choice is exceptional. They will also take special orders for Italian specialties that are not on the menu (sfogliatelle being a good example for any Italians out there!)

The quality of the cake/pasties is excellent, they even do a reward system to get one free after 10 buys.

The only slightly negative thing to say is the cost.....but then again no ones suggested you go here every day :)

We didn't go too mad and ordered both the set menus and some Dim Sum.

Portion sizes were just about perfect but the best thing about the place was the nice relaxed atmosphere. We ended up staying for about 2 hours with no one rushing us before we'd finished.

The only thing that wasn't my cup of tea was the desert of fired milk (reminded me too much of baby sick!!) but the others really liked it!

We ended up paying about £20 per head including service etc which for the centre of town for a sit down meal is fantastic considering the amount of food that was brought to the table.

Definately the best chinese i've had in London........there is however another place i need to try in Wandsworth Town that was recommended by one of the guys there...when i find out what its called i'll post it!

Phone: 020 7630 0523

Tags: romantic, chinese, restaurant
My first review!Kym's was a really nice place to have a spot of dinner. Very different from your usual stack em high and sell em cheap business strategies employed in soho and the west end.

The staff were very helpful and knowledgable about the food on offer and very keen to help with suitable drinks, accompliments etc to go along with your meal.

My friend and i, had a couple of the starters which were good, followed by the shredded duck (really nice!)and various other dishes from the main menu. The food was not as greasy as the places you find in the centre of town which is a huge positive

I would recommend the place as somewhere to go for a romantic dinner as although very close to Victoria station, seems secluded behind the hedge at the front of the restaurant. Another huge positive is the fact that they actually let you finish what you are eating before they come and bother you for your plate!!

All in all it came to about £40-45 which seems pretty good considering the food and the location.
