One of the most terrible experiences in Shoreditch.
I went there with my friend and we were second couple in the room, the rest is completely empty. When we asked to be seated two girls at the bar pointed at the table of two other customers. We couldnt believe that in an empty bar we are getting seats at other people's table. We werent happy and wanted to leave and a girl at the bar yelled at me: "Next time book darling!"
Definitely wont be coming back.

I've been to Piccolo Diavolo a few times, and have stayed mostly happy with my visits. I would advise customers to go for the meat/fish main courses as the pasta/pizza is not as good as those. Main recommendation is the vitello a la milanesa (Breaded veal fillet) which definitely reminds me of the great food I've had in Italy. The waiters are very warm, but sometimes the restaurant can feel very intrusive as the tables are crowded together and if it's too full there's not much privacy, but then again this is the original Italian feel (there's evern Chianti bottles hanging all around).
Overall a good little place to eat if you're around Soho and looking for something traditional/family-like.

Went to Rosa's on a recommendation and it was all it was cracked up to be! Food was delicious (personal favourite was the Salmon), atmosphere was friendly, vibrant and non-pretentious and it was reasonably priced.

Shall certainly be returning!

I really wasn't sure what to expect when i went to champor champor. Iâ¬"ve been to a few asian restaurants before and have always left thinking the food was over spiced and over priced. When we arrived here, we were greeted at the door by a friendly and polite waiter who took us to our seats. The dÃ©cor of the venue is as youâ¬"d expect of a thai / asian / Chinese but the smells were delicious and I soon wanted to get ordering! They have a HUGE range of food so be prepared to spend some time looking! The food itself is delicious and Iâ¬"d thoroughly recommend them

Piccolo Diavlo comes well recommended from friends and family so I just had to try it out! As with many independent Italian restaurants in London, the feel of the place is romantic and homely. The waiting staff are unbelievably friendly, but not too in your face. The food is out of this world. I have now been there a couple of times and have two recommendations! The first is the veal â¬ all I can say is WOW! Not had anything like this before, it just melts in your mouth. The other is the lasagne. I usually go for something like this and itâ¬"s the best yet!

Hi there, this was my first experience of trying thai food, and i'm glad to say i wasn't disappointed! Iâ¬"m so glad the staff at Rosaâ¬"s were so friendly, approachable and were so keen to answer all of my questions! One of them took me through the menu step by step and made a number of recommendations! When he food arrived both myself and my partner were surprised at the quantity. The quality of the food was really high and the taste and flavour was exceptional. The ambiance of Rosaâ¬"s was also nice. We would definitely advise you to try them! Weâ¬"ll definitely be going back.

It's great to see an independent cinema thriving in the sea of multiplexes and chains in the west end. Tickets start from about 1 pound 50 here which a heck of a lot cheaper than the Odeon round the conner. The movies always tend to be older or cult release that have finished their run in the bigger cinemas. I sometimes go here with friends when I am out in London as it is nearly always showing a good film despite only having one screen. Also the seats are great and really comfortable. Beneath the cinema thereâ¬"s a bar and you are allowed to bring drinks into the showings.

This is the best comedy club around. This club gets some of the biggest names in comedy. I've been a few times and obviously it depends on who's there but Paul Merton was absolutely top-notch hilarious (see him if you can). It's a great venue (not too big) and everyone's there for a laugh. And for Â£15 it makes it a fairly cheap night out (London-wise) and I definitely recommend it. You're almost guaranteed to laugh (whoever you are!).

Although I payed Â£15 to get a ticket or thereabouts when I first went, which isn't something I can afford daily, it was definitely worth it. The improvisation was fantastic, and although some of the things seemed a little unbelievable - the standard of improvisation was incredible, I had a fantastic time. There is definitely something for everybody as they explored all types of humor and really got the audience involved as well. The audience provided constantly the ideas behind the improvisations which made the whole show even more enjoyable, as anyone could take part and give in their ideas. The stage is fairly big and all the members of the show could be seen quite clearly. The Comedy Store does have some notable members and all the members that we saw gave very high quality performances, although some members were better than others which is to be expected. Overall, a must see if you have the chance!

I have been a few times and it always entertains. The room itself isnâ¬"t huge so itâ¬"s quite an intimate and cosy experience. There is a bar area at the back serving drinks and food. I have never eaten here I canâ¬"t say much about the food. Obviously, it depends on the person as to whether you find it funny, but I think thereâ¬"s enough of an array of comedians on the night to cater for most personalities. Most of the time there is an element of audience participation; just donâ¬"t sit on the front row! Great for laugh any day.

I went here a couple of weeks ago and had a brilliant night! I hadn't bought an edvance ticket and was advised when calling up to arrive before doors opened at 6.30pm to buy my ticket for the 8pm performance. I'm glad i did. I arrived at 6pm and there was already a queue of 20 people in front of me! Although it was quite expensive it was a really good quality night out with a good atmopsphere and with a bar that is not too expensive. Centrally located for going out afterwards or eating before hand. They do serve food here but only things like wedges or burgers..

ok so everyone has heard of ronnie scotts, but what is it actually like. well since it was done up a few years ago i rather like it. it still have the table lamps and dark underground feel to it and there is still a great selection of performers to be seen here. its not cheap of course, i have drinks but i always steer clear of the food. i remember by friend insisting on having some and what amounted to nothing more than cheese and crackers (2 slices of basic cheddar and 3 crakers) were brought to her for over 10 quid. aslo we often have to ask for our wine about 3 times before we get it. at the end of the day you come here because its ronnies and one of very few places you can see like jazz or bosa nova etc. i wish it were less expensive but have enjoyed it every time i have been.

Oh the borderline! This brings back memories of bands from long ago, showing my age now! This is a gig venue so all the extras (ha ha) of food or selection of ales isnâ¬"t what you come here for. I may be wrong but I seem to remember the borderline moved locations (??) I think to this one (still a long time ago) as it is bigger. It has history and there are photos of all the bands that have been here and I seem to remember seeing bands here on the way up, AND again on the way back down again! Donâ¬"t come to eat here itâ¬"s the tacky snack burger bar type of food. The sound is good at the venue though so itâ¬"s a must to see some bands here.

A bar so discreet and hidden away to be almost invisible from the street, we spent about 15 mins wandering around Commercial Road trying to find it, and we even had the address! But once inside you can see what the fuss is about. Genuinely brilliant cocktails, made with care and with startling ingredients, superb service, low lighting and cool background music, Lounge Bohemia is simply the perfect bar. They have a policy that if the seats are all taken, you can't come in - a fantastic way to keep the atmosphere relaxed and pleasant, even if it does mean you either have to get there early or book an alcove. Go now - you won't be disappointed (unless you can't find it!).
