good venueI went to see Roni Size at Scala and the venue was amazing for live gigs! it had just the right amount of people and for a weknight it was show on then finish at reasonable hour so those work heads can get some sleep! My fav placeI am bias to this place as it is my favourite café. The food is so good and cheap and the staff warm and fantastic. The owners are always happy to talk and take every care in making sure your meal is in order. The food here is a mix or European and Turkish. Try their Menemen for breakfast or lunch - it is delicious and a must try if you havenâ¬"t had it before! They also do freshly squeezed juices to cure that hangover! Nice crabsPre orchestra meal of lobster, fries and salad and a cocktail went down well. I had not had lobster this way before so it was quite an experience and affordable too. You probably need to spend a bit more time than I did to eat and enjoy the meal fully. Especially if you are dong the lobster! The atmosphere was nice ⬠better than I expected (I was American diner inexperienced). BeautifulI picked the Artisan because I wanted posh. I wanted real napkins, 5 courses and impeccable service. That is exactly what we got. It was a bit quiet (I had to ask for some music). The staff made us feel very comfortable and really looked after you. Big place nice foodOn both occasions the food was reasonably priced and delicious. The place is quite big and the atmosphere is hip and trendy with nice low lights. Tucked away from the hustle and bustleThis small romantic bistro was the perfect place for my catch up with old friends. Serving fondue, raclette, pastas and French cuisine we spent more than a couple of hours enjoying this experience and not much on the pocket.
The atmosphere is beautifully intimate and the staff were very warm and relaxed.
Walluc Bistrot is BYOW (and donâ¬"t forget as there is/was no wine sold there!)
They also sold traditional Italian cooking goodies like porcini pastes, pastas and truffle oils etc
