Romantic / stylish / party moodThis venue is great for that romantic meal with your other half or for a night out with the girls..
I had my birthday here a few years ago and was pleased with the food and the quality / value for money and the atmosphere
It was fab

What happend to Live Music and Karaoke comps here?During the time I have lived in Nottingham this well known chain bar has changed alot!
Early 2000's there used to be Fantastic live bands such as FAB4, Blues Brothers tributes, ZOO2 ( U2 Tribute ) , Gutterband, Bon Jovi Tributes etc. on here ever Monday and Wednesday night! The venue wasn't the most glamourous but with great drinks deals and fantastic live music the venue would be PACKED! And the atmosphere was brill. Also every tuesday night Yates would have a BIG karaoke competition where you could win Â£100... this eventually got a great following and the same faces would be down at the venue week in week out!
Then the venue had 2 refits and since then all entertainment was stopped and the only entertainment they have is DJ's I believe at the wkend?!
I have to say why did they change the winning formula!
Now to me this venue really doesn't stand out amongst any of the other chain pubs within the city!
They are the same as the rest with drinks deals and a menu!
Bring back the live bands I say! ! !
But if on a night out and you just wanna stop in a pub and get a cheap round in this is your place!! xx

Karaoke any one?This Place is the place to go if you are looking to practice for your next "X Factor" audition!
Karaoke is on most nights at this venue and with a quite up to date choice of songs it definately is a top choice with any wannabe superstars.... or an ideal stop off point some time in the night for any Hens do's who wanna try their hand at singing a bit of ABBA!
If you are looking for a trendy up to date bar this is not the place for you... think old traditional pub and thats this venue.
The age group in this venue therefore does vary.
On karaoke nights you will see a few familier faces who go to the venue to sing and the atmosphere I would say is friendly and welcoming!
Personally being a non smoker I used to find this venue a little unbareable due to the amount of smoke but now the ban had come in I find personally the venue to be much more pleasant!
This is an Irish themed pub to so you tend to find the students and many a local will be in here on St. Patricks day celebrating and the venue tends to pull out all stops with live traditional Irish music! x

Clean and relaxing!! Most of us are familier with Starbucks chain of coffee shops... and bein a bit of a coffee lover I tend to meet the gurls alot in starbucks... especially after a night out partying!
There are several branches in Notts but out of all of them this is my fave! The staff are friendly and it always seems to be pretty clean and tidy.. even when its busy!
So defo thumbs up for Starbucks on Clumber Street Notts!!! ...
Ps... Seen as its now coming up to Christmas its the Christmas menu... YAY roll on Gingerbread Lattes.... xXx

Cheap n cheerful! This venue is what us gurlies like to call Cheap n Cheerful!
This venue is ideal for stopping into for a cheap drink or two when your out in Nottingham for a big night out!
Lloyds being part of the Wetherspoons group always has great drinks deals on and normally on branded drinks!
As for the venue.. not the most glamourous but still tidy!
With Djs on normally at the wkends and even a karaoke on a Thursday night this venue has a little entertainment on!
Worth while a look in! x

The Restaurant is great! I have to say living in Nottingham I have not stayed at the hotel... BUT ... My friend Sarah decided to have her birthday dinner in the restaurant here..
I have to say I was suprised at this venue being her choice of venue seen as there are so many restaurants in Nottingham but this restaurant was great.
It was fairly quiet and relaxed and the food was very tasty.
The only thing I would say is it is fairly pricey compared to other restaurants in town. I personally would only go here for special occasions!
Never the less the staff really looked after us and mad Sarahs birthday really special! :0) xx

Great atmosphere! This venue only opened in Nottingham in the popular location of the Cornerhouse about just over a year ago! There are two Revolution Bars in Nottingham this one and one situated in the Lace Market.
I tend to prefer the one in the Cornerhouse as I think its a little more central but both are great!
This is obviously a chain of bars within the UK.
They have a good cocktail list and drinks list and lots and lots of vodka!
You can save a buddle if this is your regular haunt by getting a Revolution Card for Â£3.00 which gets you lots of drinks deals / money off!
They dont have Dj's on every night at this venue but I have to say I have been impressed with the ones they do have on especially on Friday night where they play a great mix of top dance tune old and new!
Sundays this venue transforms from a party venue to a nice relaxed chilled out venue with comfortable seating!
To bare in also is that this is quite studenty in the wk especially Thurs nights! :0)
Top venue tho would recommend! X

Yummy! I went here for my friends birthday in Aug this year. I had never been here until then and did'nt know what to expect but I have to say I was pleasantly suprised.
This is a great choice of venue for a birthday or works do as you know that there is some choice of food for everyone.
The food is all freshly cooked and the turnover of food is quick and kept fresh. It is presented as a buffet so once you have ordered your drinks from the friendly staff you can go up and help yourself to what you would like to eat with a choice of Indian , Italian etc. !
I would recommend this venue which is situated in the popular part of the city in the Lace Market area of Nottingham. I would also recommend booking if there are large groups of you planning on going! :0) x

Great night out! This place is fab for all you gurlies / blokies who wanna go and shake your ass's to some wicked tunes!
This venue has several different rooms which during the wkend all are open during the week tho you might find at quiet time of the year that only the main room and side bar are open!
There really is everythin tho underneath this one roof!
You can even eat here!
With top Dj's and different nights and even the odd karaoke you will find theres something in this venue to suit everyone!
Theres the disco room downstairs which plays all the cheese! And you tend to find in the main room great dance mixes going on!

Fabtastic! What a great place to go! Perfect for a night out with the girls or your boyfriend / girlfriend.
With an extensive drinks list and a cocktail list as long as your arm there really is something for everyone!
Theres live music most nights of the week and dj's. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere in the venue is really good!
What stands this place apart from other venues in the city is the unique surroundings and the cool little beds which you can book for the evening to sit on whilst you sip on fantastic cosmo's Sex and the City styly!
This place also has great events such as Slow dating nights!
Its free entry and open till 3am most days!!
