BeansceneI agree with the children comment, but the Beanscene on Cresswell Lane's slightly quieter during the week! The tchai latte is amazing, as are the iced fruit boosters. Slightly pricy (well, for the student budget), but worth it. The TapOld fashioned but cosy pub - good for a quiet drink during the week, but fills up at the weekend. Tends to be more middle-aged customers, but younger people can be found there too. It doesn't do food. Phat KatzThis is a fun cafe with quite eccentric decor (phone boxes, neon lights etc). Gets very busy on Saturday afternoons. Has an outdoor courtyard area which is very nice in the sunshine. It's quite hard to find, but worth it.
