I can't say I've tried the tuna melt just yet, but the burgers here are out of this world. My friend had the Sunday Roast here the other week and it was all we could do to stop her chewing the bones.

There's a lovely, laid-back atmosphere here, and even better - there's table-service. There are an assortment of games available - Pictionary, Cluedo and so on.

My friends and I decided to join in the pub quiz. This was a rather spur of the moment decision. My friends and I are all profoundly deaf, so doing things like this can often be an inconvenience. However, after speaking to the bar manager he happily went off to print out an additional copy of the questions so we could all play.

So not only a brilliant pub, but also disability-aware/deaf-friendly to boot!

Phone: 020 7734 9688

Tags: lively, good value, japanese
Konnichi waI absolutely love Japanese food. My prior haunt was Kulu Kulu, near Seven Dials, but myself and my friend wanted to branch out a bit and sample a few new places!

Hi Sushi has a buffet deal for around £15 per head. You are given two pieces of paper - one for sushi (all-you-can-eat) and one for hot food (one off order). The hot food includes miso soup, edamame, steamed rice, vegetable spring rolls, prawn tempura and so on. The only problem with Hi Sushi is that the buffet list for the sushi is quite limited and rather salmon based; although that is to be expected from the price. Having said that, the quality of the seafood is impeccable as is the hot food.

The people who work there are patient and very smiley. It's a very relaxed place. Despite the buffet menu having a limit of one and a half hours, I've never felt pressure to leave.

There are a choice of tables. You can either sit upstairs at a booth (ideal for two people), or if there's 3 or more, there are tables which cater for more people downstairs. This in itself is an experience, as the tables are pretty much on the floor and you have to get down on your knees and stick your legs into a hole beneath the table to sit down.

All in all, I absolutely LOVE this place just because it's the perfect combination of everything. There's a wonderful atmosphere, the waitresses are friendly, the food is fabulous and good value for money. Recommended!

I love their chips and think their burgers are fabulous. Some people may disagree, but it's a matter of taste I guess. Personally I think they make some of the best burgers around.

The only downside is that it tends to be quite chaotic in here, so you may have to wait quite a while to be seated/get your order!

Tariq from Eastenders is one of the backers. There was a massive queue of people, so we put our name on the very long list (leaving a contact number) and retreated to a nearby pub expecting to never hear from them again.

Within half an hour, our phone vibrated and we all legged it over for the biggest BBQ I've ever eaten in my life.

Definitely try the burnt ends, and they do great burgers.

Staff are pleasant and bubbly enough, although tend to be rushed off their feet.

I particularly like the televisions showing baseball and other Americany sports.
