As Greek As It Gets never gets too busy. In fact, anytime I go (typically weeknights), I have to preface entering the door with "trust me, the food is good, it's just never that busy."

Earls Court is a bit tricky - there are some great great restauarants that require a decent walk from the station. This restaurant, however, is a convenient 3 minutes from the station - so if you are meeting up in Earls Court for an event or to catch a band, it is a good choice.

The restaurant is actually 2 stories - this is part of the reason that it doesn't feel too busy - there might be 5 full tables up and 5 full tables down.. On this last visit, I sat upstairs, along the cute little tablesapce that overlooks a pretty chandelier and the downstairs.. The decor of the place is fresh and eccentric - greens on the wall and wood floors make it feel fresh and clean.. while wooden spoons speckled all over the staircase make it a little quirky.

The service has always been great! Waiters are very attentive and also accomodating should you have special requests (I asked for saganaki without sesame seeds and they were fine to accomodate).

Prices depend on what you order. Souvlaki, for instance is 3-4pounds... but true mains can set you back 14 pounds. I have always shared the mezes with friends rather than ordering mains.. but this too can add up. The food is pretty good, but the showstopping standout is the Baklava - it is the best I have ever tasted - even trumps various types I have had in Greece and Turkey!! It is huge as well so you can probably share with a friend (Though I was perfectly content eating one all on my own).

Meze are pretty tasty. Saganaki (without sesame) is good.. as are all of their dips, the Greek salad, the meatballs, the shrimp/chorizo/halloumi skewers...

If you order wine (1 carafe, for two people) and have mezes and dessert - expect to spend around 20-25 pounds each... a little steep, but you are in London...

Highly highly recommended! What a fab place- nothing lets you down. I've been here a few times, some with partner and some with groups of mates, both were great nights. The food is superb. We had an octopus starter which we've never tried before and were very dubious, however, it was absolutely fantastic. One word of warning though, the food is not cheap- with a bottle of wine, we were looking at about Â£50 a head. But it was worth every penny.

The cocktails are great- especially the mojitos! With a few of these down you there is not excuse for not getting up on the dancefloor. The live music is great. Slightly pretentious but all staff are extremely friendly. For a fab night out- this place is highly recommended and you'll be raving about it for ages!

I would highly recommend this bar and restaurant just for the music, cocktails and vibe. I have not actually had a meal at Floridita, but have been on a Saturday for a drink and a dance and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is usually packed but there is always room on the dancefloor for someone who wants to dance to some lovely latin music, and there are always available partners on offer for the ladies, lol. Unfortunately when we arrived (elevenish) the band had finished playing, but we still had the incentive to stay on until 3 a.m. Drinks are great and a good price for the west end. Service was quick and thorough.

I went to Floridita mid-week and so it wasn't too busy, therefore we got served very quickly. The food was amazing, really scrummy! And the cocktails were equally as yummy! The cuban band were great, but no dancing going on unforch!!

Excellent place for entertainment value, and the food was fabulous, Cocktails to die for, the only bad point I would say is that the waiting staff at times can be a little slow hence four stars not five.

For a great night out, I would recommend this to anyone..

Pricey but delicious was apparently the theme of the night... the cocktails were excellent and the menu was obscene, there were so many to choose from.

The music clearly didn't make much of an impact on me as I do not remember what they were playing, but there was plenty of seating and the service was acceptable.

Really quite fun, all in all.

It's brilliant! I loved this place. Pricey, but delicious. The friendliest staff I've ever met in London (to the point where we went out dancing with the Brazilian waiter and French waitress afterwards). Gorgeous music. Good lighting. We stayed 'til 2.30am on a Tuesday night. Vamos juntos!

I am not really sure about As Greek As it Gets... I have to be honest though, I only went there once, late at night, for some take away on my way home. And that time I wasn't really impressed with the food. Maybe I should try again. The other review is very postive about the food...

For sure you cannot miss it! The decor is quite extravagant and the bright colors/light will definitely attract you when going down Earls Court Road.

I've been there to meet a blind date, one night.... we had a delicious dinner, in a cozy atmosphere, and later on, the chef came to ask if the food was good, which was so tasty...great staff, nice music, normal prices... I recommended....and also the sunday brunch....!

"As Greek As It Gets" is one of very few restaurants in London that serve authentic Greek food. The food is properly cooked and the portions are "really Greek"! That is large because Greek food is about being generous. You have a good variety of meats for your "souvlaki", from chicken to sausage. Furthermore, prices are very reasonable (you won't be covered in grease!) and they make you want to order more. The decoration of "As Greek As It Gets" is a rather eccentric but also a lively mix of wooden floors, LCD screens and huge windows. The only thing that should definitely be improved is the service which is average. That's why, in my opinion, it gets only 4 stars. But at the end of the day, food is what really matters and since it's delicious, I reckon you'll love the place!

Conran food, live Cuban band music, salsa dancing and fantastic cocktails. Be prepared to spend, dance and spin. Your feet won't stop moving and if you are not shy go on ask a man to dance! Si mama!
