Namco Station is a fantastic especially if you are over 18.
As you'd expect they have all the latest Namco games, Tekken Tag and SoulCaliber as well as popular games of other companies. It also has funfair/arcade type games like the "Camel Derby", fruit machines and machine games that give you tickets that you could exchange for prizes. This is all standard fare for this type of arcade. Even the fact that it has dodgems and mini-bowling alleys is the same as Funland in the Trocadero in Piccadilly. It even has the obligatory McDonalds.

The thing that sets the Namco Station apart from any other arcade is the way that it has been pitched at the 20 year old market and not teens or children (although at the weekend the place is heaving with them). We start off with an over 18s basement (providing a safe haven for people like me who fear screaming kids and tweenies). This floor is fully equiped with bar, pool tables and games machines including the donkey derby (like Daytona or Sega Rally only you ride a donkey) and a game which gives you the chance to shoot your friends in a virtual arena. These games needless to say are particular blast when you have had one or two with your friends.
For those who have the (dutch) courage to enter the unrestricted zone, there are the rewards of Dodgems (the only place it is safe to drink and drive), many shooter em ups (including silent scope) and many many driving games (Daytona, Sega rally, Tanks) and fighting games galore. There is also Air Hockey, those hit the pop up things with a mallet (including the street fighter spin on it) and the Dance Games (use the foot pad on the floor).

It's all great fun and opens late even in the week. The obvious comparison is with Funland Trocadero

Given that most music places in central London seem to be getting a facelift (re Ronnie Scotts), it is kinda nice to have these old-school sort of live music haunts. 'Aint nothing but...' is a smallish, dirty-looking bar (in a nice way!), where you can feel easily at home. It gets very busy though, so try to get there early.

I have to agree with Brolly, Namco has something for everyone weather your looking for a night out with Friends, Entertaining the kids or taking out Clients... There is a great variety of games to play including bumper cars, bowling & dance machines. Downstairs is for over 18's only which is a nice touch. Here you will find a bar which has some great special offers, an American pool hall, bowling ally and racing games. Namco also have a DJ the last Friday of every month to give it an even more of a party atmosphere (this could have changed!). Always guaranteed to have a great night!!

This place used to be fairly decent but I went there again a few weeks ago and the food was terrible. Not sure what's happened but I won't be going back

The place is cool.
It's just a minute's walk from Covent Garden Market but as soon as you walk in (especially if in a cold winter night) you feel like stepping into a small corner of Spain. Candle light, smart interior design and a good choice of dishes, paired with a few decent entries on the wine list make it a good place for a romantic dinner as well as for chilling out after some crazy shopping in Covent Garden.

Smally, Tiny Venue, but there you can expect to listen to some Blues, with capital B.
The place tends to fill up quite quickly and queue to form outside pretty early in the evening.

Being just around the corner from Regent Street, Oxford Circus tube and Carnaby street make it a perfect place to end a joyful day in soho.

The Ronnie Scott's of the Blues - and it's not just the slow 12-bar my-cat-ran-off-with-the-milkman stuff - you are just as likely to hear the more hard-edged, rock-y, Jimi Hendrix-y stuff as well. One night I went in with some music-loving buddies; it was packed to the hilt, the band was on top form and the crowd were in party mode - the joint, as they say in Bluesville, was literally jumping.

If you know of it's better then please feel free to tell me.

If you are a Blues lover, then this is just the place for you! They have live performances every night, and they are open late most nights. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. The Blues Bar has a fantastic vibe. The décor is cool, with the walls covered with music sheets of actual Blues songs from some of the greatest artists, like B.B King!!!

The only sad fact is that the place is very tiny. Unless you arrive very early, expect to queue and be a little squashed. Must admit though, that has never stopped me; I do truly enjoy the Blues!

This is a perfect place for a girl's night out or even a romantic evening! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with a smile. The whole atmosphere is great! You have the typical Spanish music playing in the background (sometimes accompanied by traditional dancers) with the perfect décor that gives you a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The food is fantastic with 30 different dishes to choose from and lets not forget my favourite, the pitchers of Sangria! I find the staff to be very friendly and their service to be most efficient!

If you are looking for entertainment with a difference, Namco Station is the place for you! It is situated along side the River Thames next to the London Eye. A fantastic area of London, always buzzing and things going on! Namco Station is great for a family day out or just a group of friends looking for something different and fun to do!

It has a great games arcade, with many games to choose from as well as bumper cars and ten-pin bowling. Down stairs are more games, Ten pin bowling for the adults, an American Pool Hall, bar, comfy sofas and Big screens for all you sport lovers. A little something to suit everyone. And should you get a little peckish during all your fun and games, they even do fairly decent light meals&.
