Excellent french food, not too fussy and excellent ingredients. I regretted not getting venison which some punters next to me ordered but our food was equally delicious.

Apparently very good sunday lunches too - will have to try.

Not far away on fulham road ("the Beach") are many far more cool places, but The Ifield keep its distance and benefits from being away from of the crowd.

Menu is comprised of a number of well-rehearsed staples such as Tuna steaks, duck hoi sin as well as traditional british fish and chips and other stuff.

Occasionally gets a bit smoky when crowded but remains a trustworthy local for all the residents of Ifield road and neighbouring streets.
