Park LifeAm often in Holland Park which I greatly prefer to Hyde Park and had always been meaning to visit Belvedere restaurant.

Being in the park is nice and the first floor actually overlooks the Orangery courtyard area of what was once Holland House.

Its a very discreet place and unlike many places in K&C, diners are not wedged in to maximise the number of seats they have. Excellent french food, not too fussy and excellent ingredients. I regretted not getting venison which some punters next to me ordered but our food was equally delicious.

Apparently very good sunday lunches too - will have to try.

My LocalThis is great restaurant / pub popular with an unpretentious crowd. Not far away on fulham road ("the Beach") are many far more cool places, but The Ifield keep its distance and benefits from being away from of the crowd.

Menu is comprised of a number of well-rehearsed staples such as Tuna steaks, duck hoi sin as well as traditional british fish and chips and other stuff.
