Best curry house in townThis IMHO is the best curry joint in town. I would have given it 5 stars, however, sometimes service can be verrrrry slow.

Great for kidsWe love this place, and regularly bring our children here as its very child friendly with relaxed staff. The children love sitting on the balcony drinking or eating there snacks.

The menu could be a little more varied and imaginative, but apart from that, a great and relaxing place.

Whitstables trendy barPearsons was the first restaurant I ever ate in over 8 years ago. Back then, it was a very simple and typically english boozer that happened to have an excellent restuarant.

Well, times move on and the pub and food deteriorated.

However, recently it has been given a make over and it now looks very contemporary indeed, and you would forgive yourself for thinking you were in some swanky clapham bar not CT5. Anyway, the pub itself is ok. Good selection of drinks and something a little different from what you normally get in Whitstable. However, it is pricey and the service was not all that great and I had to wait a lot longer than I would have liked (and this was a not so busy Thursday).

The food is also getting back to where it should be, and whilst again it was a little pricey, it was on the whole worth it.

ExcellentTop notch. Great vibe and location, relaxed and not too formal.

Pork Belly and the Walnut/pear salad are to die for, as are the puddings. Really good.

Only downer is that its not really child friendly, and even though we have brought our children here, they can be a bit strict...

Best food in town by a country mile...If you can get in, and get over the cramped/dated interior, what awaits you is culinery bliss. I have eaten here many times and I always love the good.

Guiness & Oyster pie is excellent, as is the Bread and Butter pudding.
