The first time I went to this place I thought it was the best place in Leeds, the music was good, indie/house and it was over crowded. The drinks were a bit expensive but that was ok because the sofas were unbelievably comfy.

Then I became a student, whenever I go in it's unbelievably paced and just too small, the pool is expensive and they only have american tables. The food and drink are also expensive and it is no longer my favourite place.

What can I say? This could quite easily be the best or worst night of your life. You enter the bar after walking 3 flights of stairs. Its specifically a pool bar. But you have to book a table, and usualy wait at least an hour before playing. The bar is tiny, which makes the place very cramped. But this is obvious by the name of the bar. Great music.....indie/house. Great atmosphere, but it almost feels like dossing in a college common room.

They also have a ping pong table and some very comfy sofas, that unfortunately are always taken (by the same crowds). Its like looking at central perk in Friends. Not just pool... food (not the best in Leeds though - hence 4 stars), big bar with comfy seating areas, excellent DJs on Saturday nights.

Probably the best meeting point for a Saturday night wander around Leeds... but if you get too comfortable, you could end up here all night! Itâ¬"s a uniquely shaped public space, a large circular bar area that stretches under a second floor that you reach via a single wide staircase. The 2nd floor has a big open circular balcony, over which you can spy on the punters below.

You may have to get someone who already knows where it is to take you there, if you havenâ¬"t been before... itâ¬"s easy to miss. Youâ¬"ll probably think, â¬ÜWhere the hell are they taking meâ¬" more than once!
