The Pyewipe Inn is one of the best Pubs in the area, in my opinion. The atmosphere is good, the food is great, the staff are friendly, and the canal-side location is fantastic. On a warm day sitting outside is an enjoyable experience.
Every time I've visited the Pyewipe it has been quite quiet. The menu is mostly home-made pub style offerings, with sandwiches and light snacks available, and you are usually served quite quickly, by friendly staff.
The Inn itself is kept clean inside, and is a very pleasant place to sit and eat or drink.
